    Abstract: An apparatus may receive a media access control (MAC) control element (CE) from a base station (BS) indicating a secondary cell (SCell) to be activated in an unlicensed band. The apparatus may initiate a timer with an end value in response to receiving the MAC CE and may further adjust a radio-frequency (RF) chain from a first state to a second state corresponding to the SCell to be activated. The apparatus may determine, based on measurements of one or more synchronization signal blocks (SSBs) transmitted from the BS indicating one or more listen before talk (LBT) failures corresponding to the SCell, one or more failed SSB transmissions corresponding to the SCell. Accordingly, the apparatus may readjust, in response to expiry of the timer, the RF chain from the second state to the first state and receive one or more additional SSBs in the first state.

    Abstract: Systems, devices, and techniques for wireless communications based on one or more transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states are described. A described technique performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving a first downlink channel based on a current TCI state; receiving a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) in a first slot, the PDSCH carrying a radio resource control (RRC) activation command in the first slot, the RRC activation command indicating a switch to a target TCI state; waiting until an end of a switching period triggered by the RRC activation command to use the target TCI state, the switching period being based on a RRC processing delay; and receiving, based on the end of the switching period, a second downlink channel based on the target TCI state in a second slot.

    Abstract: The present application relates to an improved method of operating a user equipment (UE), comprising: receiving, at the UE, a configuration of at least a first Channel Measurement Resource (CMR) set and a second CMR set for group-based beam reporting (GBBR) and performing, at the UE with at least a first antenna panel (and possibly multiple antenna panels), a first plurality of intracell, multiple TRP, Layer 1 Reference Signal Received Power (L1-RSRP) measurements. The first CMR set and second CMR set each comprises a plurality of resources (e.g., Synchronization Signal Block (SSB) resources and/or Channel State Information Reference Signal (CSI-RS) resources), and performing the first plurality of L1-RSRP measurements comprises performing a measurement using a number of fine beams (formed by one or more antenna panels) for one or more of the plurality of resources (up to and including each of the resources) in the first and second CMR sets.
