Abstract:
A drive by means of an electric motor for trackless vehicles, in which the rotational speed adjustment takes place by changing the field energization of the electric motor, and with a separating clutch connected behind the motor as well as a changespeed transmission having at least two speeds in the forward driving direction. An energizing current controller for the field winding is provided whose energizing current-desired value is predetermined by another current controller to which are fed, on the one hand, the actual value of the armature current and, on the other, a desired value which is determined by the drive and/or brake pedal when the separating clutch is not actuated, and which is automatically determined by a synchronizing controller or is set to zero during the actuation of the separating clutch. A relay is provided for effecting short-circuiting of the armature when the ignition is turned off and monitoring devices are provided for monitoring operating conditions of the motor and influencing the motor or providing an indication in accordance with the monitored conditions.
Abstract:
A keyboard assembly includes a U-shaped carrier member and a plurality of key members connected thereon by resiliently yieldable legs having detent portions which engage cooperating recesses provided in the bottom wall of the U-shaped carrier member with snap action. Each key member has an upper and a lower housing port which are snap-fastened to each other, and an actuating shaft axially movable to energize an electrical component mounted below the carrier member. A locking member is also provided to lock the shaft in a down actuating position.
Abstract:
In a timing relay including an indexing gear wheel driven by a clutched gear wheel which is driven by an electric motor and in which an actuating element is controlled by means of a cam coupled to the indexing gear wheel with the actuating element being used to operate contact elements on displacement thereof, the actuating element is disposed parallel to the indexing gear wheel and is also arranged to control engagement and disengagement of the clutched gear wheel with the indexing gear wheel.
Abstract:
A binder is described which comprises A) a hydrolysate or heterocondensate of at least one hydrolysable silicon compound and at least one metal, phosphorus or boron compound, the metal being selected from Al, Ge, Sn, Pb, Ti, Mg, Li, V, Nb, Ta, Zr and Hf, B) an organic polymerizable or polycondensable monomer or oligomer and C) a buffer, so that the pH of the buffered binder is in the range from 2 to 7, and optionally a complexing agent, if appropriate, the at least one hydrolysable silicon compound comprising one or more hydrolysable silicon compounds having at least one nonhydrolysable group or oligomers thereof. The binder is suitable for consolidating bulk or loose substrates.
Abstract:
An ink jet head is formed with a nozzle surface having a liquid repellent characteristic. The nozzle surface comprises a condensation product made from a hydrolyzable silane compound having a fluorine containing group and a hydrolyzable silane compound having a cationic polymerizable group.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a metal substrate comprising an ultra-hard composite layer consisting of an inorganic, vitreous matrix containing one or more abrasive fillers. According to the invention, the diameter of the filler particles or, if the filler particles have a platelet-type form, the thickness of the filler particles is less than the layer thickness of the composite layer.
Abstract:
Described is a consolidant comprising a hydrolyzate or precondensate of at least one organosilane and at least one metal compound, where the molar ratio of silicon compounds to metal compounds is in the range of from 10 000:1 to 10:1.The consolidant can be used for the hydrolysis-stable consolidation of porous or particulate materials to form moldings. The consolidant can be used for the hydrolysis-stable coating of substrates.
Abstract:
An ink jet recording head having a high durability and high ink resistance can enable high-quality image recording by employing a material capable of reducing the internal stress and having satisfactory patterning characteristics. Such an ink jet recording head can be produced with high precision. A cationically photopolymerizable resin composition containing a condensate of a hydrolysable organosilane compound, employed as a material for forming a flow path forming member, enables a reduction of internal stress and a highly precise pattern in the flow path forming member, thereby providing an ink jet recording head having high durability and high ink resistance and capable of high-quality printing over a prolonged time.
Abstract:
A connector for connecting a dialysate port of a dialyzer with a dialysate-carrying line and a dialyzer. The connector has a recess with a shift element on the end which accommodates the dialyzer port. The shift element is accommodated in the recess and is displaceable between a first position and a second position perpendicular to the direction of the lumen on the first end. The shift element does not pass through the lumen in the first position. In the second position, the lumen is constricted so that the connector with the shift element can be placed on the dialysate port and the connector locked on the dialysate port through engagement of the shift element behind an undercut on the port.
