摘要: The preset invention aims to improve the assembly accuracy and rotation accuracy of a fluid bearing device, and to further reduce the cost thereof. A bearing sleeve is fixed on the inner periphery of a housing. An axial member is supported in a non-contact manner in a radial direction by an oil film formed in a radial bearing gap. The housing made of resin is injection molded with the use of a substrate as an insert part. On the substrate, a control circuit for controlling a polygon scanner motor is mounted.

摘要: It is an object to improve bearing rigidity in a thrust direction at high temperatures and reduce a torque at low temperatures. An axial member 2 is arranged in such a manner that an outer circumferential surface of an axial part 2a is opposed to an inner circumferential surface of a bearing sleeve with a radial bearing gap interposed therebetween, and both end faces 2b1 and 2b2 of a flange part 2b are opposed to one end face of the bearing sleeve and a bottom face of a housing with thrust bearing gaps interposed therebetween, respectively. In this manner, the axial member 2 is supported by dynamic pressures generated in the respective bearing gaps in the thrust direction in a non-contact manner. The flange part of the axial member 2 is formed of a resin in such a manner that its linear expansion coefficient in its axial direction is equal to or larger than that of the housing 7.

摘要: A digital camera and a image signal generating method capable of generating both an image signal for displaying an object image and additional information on a display component. and an image signal to be supplied to a connected external display device, with a simple configuration. Video additional information data is generated which includes in the period corresponding to the horizontal blanking period of the composite video signal digital data representing additional information to be displayed with the object image on the LCD, and in the period corresponding to the video period of the composite video signal digital data representing the object image. The digital data in the period corresponding to the horizontal blanking period is masked and a horizontal synchronizing signal and color burst are superimposed.

摘要: A polyethylene spacer for optical fiber cable including a central tensile member, an intermediate coating layer arranged on an outer periphery of the central tensile member and being compatible with polyethylene and a main coating arranged on an outer periphery of the intermediate coating layer and having continuous spiral grooves for accommodating optical fibers and which are inverted periodically in a lengthwise direction. The main coating is formed from polyethylene resin. The spacer includes ribs defining the spiral grooves. A minimum thickness of the ribs is 1.0 mm or less, the groove inclination angle &agr; of a cross section of the spacer at inversion part is 18° or less. A resin density of a root part of each rib is the lowest in comparison to a resin density at a tip part of the rib and central parts of the rib between the root part and the tip part.

摘要: A seal ring that is high in wear resistance and sealability, and less likely to damage an aluminum alloy mating member, and particularly a seal ring having an outer diameter of 20 mm or under and formed with a slit which can be opened easily to be fitted on a shaft. The seal ring is made from a lubricating resin composition containing 50-90 vol % of an aromatic polyether ketone resin, 5-30 vol % of an aromatic polyamide fiber, and 2-30 vol % of tetrafluoroethylene resin. The composition may further contain 2-20 vol % of mica or talc, or 2-30 vol % of a whisker having a Mohs hardness of 3 or over. The seal ring is formed with a slit and has an an outer diameter of 20 mm or under with a bending strain (under ASTM D790) of 3% or over.

摘要: An improved mounting assembly for a steering shaft on a watercraft, which increases the strength and stability of the steering assembly while significantly reducing the manufacturing complexity of the watercraft. The mounting assembly comprises an elongated body having at least a first and second bearing surface, these bearing surfaces rotatably supporting the steering shaft within the elongated body. The elongated body is further attached to a mounting flange, with the mounting flange being attached to the steering column platform which is secured to the upper or lower hull of the watercraft. The disclosed steering operator mounting assembly further significantly reduces or eliminates the corrosive effects of water and/or salt on the components of the steering assembly most susceptible to such corrosion, such as the bowden-wire cable assembly.
