摘要： The present invention provides a dielectric resonator device, an oscillator, and a transmitter-receiver apparatus having stable characteristics while requiring lower manufacturing costs. A circuit substrate 1 has a top surface 1A provided with transmission lines 2, and a bottom surface 1B provided with a ground electrode 3. A dielectric substrate 5 has opposite surfaces 5A, 5B that are respectively provided with electrodes 6 having circular openings 7 so as to form a TE010-mode resonator 4. An insulating layer 8 is disposed between the ground electrode 3 of the circuit substrate 1 and the electrodes 6 of the TE010-mode resonator 4. The TE010-mode resonator 4 is attached to the circuit substrate 1 with an insulative adhesive 9. Accordingly, a current path remains unchanged even if the circuit substrate 1 and the TE010-mode resonator 4 are partially disengaged from each other, thereby achieving stable characteristics.

The profile generation device performs a color measurement on an output image, and detects a location in the output image and a colorimetric value of the location, then generates data to be used for generating the profile from a pair of the color value correlated with the extraction point and the colorimetric value correlated with the location in the output image, wherein the location corresponds to the extraction point. Consequently, the profile generation device generates the profile by using the generated data.

摘要： A magnetic disc apparatus having a magnetic head supporting mechanism which includes a slider, a load beam having a spring portion and a pivot, and a gimbal having a mounting portion on which the slider is mounted. The gimbal has flexible finger portions spaced from the load beam which support the mounting portion so that the slider is rotatable with respect to the pivot, and a base end portion which is joined to the load beam. The load beam has elongation portions extending with respect to both sides of the pivot and being connected together in a proximity of a tip end portion of the flexible finger portions so as to be spaced from the pivot of the gimbal and for delimiting a window. The pivot is provided on a projection portion of the load beam which projects in the window from a spring portion side of the window.

摘要： A voltage controlled oscillator includes a resonant circuit which is connected with an active circuit. In the resonant circuit, a variable capacitance diode is connected with a resonator via a transmission line, and a capacitive circuit is connected in parallel with the variable capacitance diode. By setting the length of the transmission line to an appropriate value ranging from, for example, about one quarter to about one half of the wavelength of the resonant frequency, the frequency change width can increase, while maintaining the frequency linearity because of connection of the capacitive circuit.

摘要： A high-frequency oscillation circuit includes a resonance circuit and an active circuit. The active circuit includes a field-effect transistor and a capacitor. An impedance-conversion circuit including a high-impedance line, a capacitive stub, and a connecting line such as wire, is connected between the active circuit and the resonance circuit. Accordingly, the impedance-conversion circuit can convert the characteristic impedance of the resonance circuit so that the absolute value of the reflection coefficient of the active circuit increases. As a result, the oscillation conditions can be easily fulfilled.

摘要： If a large external impact is applied to a magnetic disc apparatus, a slider jumps from a disc surface and rotates. When the slider jumps and rotates, its edges re-contact the disc surface to damage this surface. To reduce the rotation angle of the slider to control its position if an impact is effected, the present invention provides a roof on a load arm to reduce the contact angle at which the slider contacts the disc surface in order to relax the impact upon a contact.

摘要： A disk drive unit includes a rotary member, which has a spindle, and has an information-recording disk fixedly mounted thereon, and a bearing unit rotatably supporting the spindle. The bearing unit includes a radial bearing device, provided in opposed relation to an outer peripheral surface of the spindle, and a thrust bearing device provided in opposed relation to a distal end surface of the spindle. The radial bearing device has a concentric arc-shaped bearing surface, which is concentric with the circular outer periphery of the spindle, and a non-concentric arc-shaped bearing surface which is non-concentric with the circular outer periphery of the spindle. The disk drive unit further includes a motor for imparting a rotational force to the spindle, and a lubricating fluid filled in the bearing unit.
