Abstract:
Provided is a method for a base station performing a multimedia broadcast multicast service (MBMS) session update in a wireless communication system, and a device supporting same. The base station may comprise: receiving, from a multi-cell coordination entity (MCE), a MBMS session update request message comprising a single-cell point-to-multipoint (SCPTM) transmission stop indication; and transmitting, to the MCE, a MBMS session update response message as a response to the MBMS session update request message.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for transmitting an indication for coordination of 3rd generation partnership project long-term evolution (3GPP LTE) and wireless local area network (WLAN) in a wireless communication system is provided. In a cell-specific scheme, an eNodeB (eNB) transmits a first indication of WLAN offloading support to a mobility management entity (MME), and receives a second indication of applying different charging rules from the eNB. Alternatively, in a user equipment (UE)-specific scheme, the eNB transmits a first indication of WLAN offloading support to the MME, receives a second indication of which bearer can be offloaded or not from the eNB, and applies offloading for a specific UE according to the second indication.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for transmitting authorization information for vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication in a wireless communication system is provided. Authorization information for at least one of a vehicle user equipment (UE) or a road side unit (RSU) UE is transmitted. The authorization information for at least one of a V-UE or a RSU UE may be transmitted via various messages.
Abstract:
Provided are a method for deleting, by a mobility management entity (MME) of a local evolved packet core (EPC), user equipment (UE) information in a wireless communication system, and an apparatus for supporting the same. The method may include: receiving a UE information delete request message from a normal base station (BS), and deleting UE information on all UEs in an area of the normal BS, wherein the local EPC is comprised in an isolated BS, the MME is comprised in the local EPC, and the normal BS comprises no local EPC.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for indicating vehicle-to-everything (V2X) or road side unit (RSU) function support in a wireless communication system is provided. A radio access network (RAN) node may transmit an indication of V2X/RSU function support of the RAN node to another RAN node. Alternatively, if the RAN nodes does not support V2X/RSU function, the RAN node may transmit a message including a cause value indicating that the RAN node does not support V2X/RSU function.
Abstract:
Provided are a method for transmitting a paging message by an MME in a wireless communication system, and an apparatus supporting the same. The MME may receive a TAI list of a neighboring cell from a base station, and may transmit a paging message to a base station belonging to a TA which is indicated in the TAI list of the neighboring cell.Provided are a method for transmitting a TAI list by a base station in a wireless communication system, and an apparatus supporting the same. The base station may transmit a TAI list of a neighboring cell to an MME.The neighboring cell may be a cell which is adjacent to a cell to which a terminal belongs.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for transmitting a cell shaping/un-shaping indication in a wireless communication system is provided. A first eNodeB (eNB) transmits a cell shaping/un-shaping indication which indicates cell shaping/un-shaping of a cell, managed by the first eNB, in an active antenna system (AAS) to a second eNB. The cell shaping means that main coverage of the cell is maintained unchanged but an edge of the cell can be adapted to load demand. The cell un-shaping means that coverage of the cell goes back to original coverage.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for indicating support of a local gateway (L-GW) in a wireless communication system is provided. A master evolved NodeB (MeNB) in dual connectivity receives an indication of L-GW support from a secondary eNB (SeNB) in dual connectivity, which is co-located with the L-GW, and transmit the indication of L-GW support of the SeNB to a mobility management entity (MME). The indication of L-GW support may include a local Internet protocol access (LIPA) L-GW transport layer address or a selected IP traffic offload (SIPTO) L-GW transport layer address.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for setting up a bearer in a wireless communication system supporting dual connectivity is disclosed. The method for setting up a bearer by a base station (BS) in a wireless communication system supporting dual connectivity, includes requesting, by a first BS, a second BS to set up one or more bearers, receiving, by the first BS, a second bearer list of one or more bearers that can be set by the BS and tunnel end point identifiers (TEIDs) of the bearers included in the second bearer list from the second BS, and transmitting, by the first BS, the second bearer list and the TEIDs of the bearers included in the second bearer list to a mobility management entity (MME).
Abstract:
A paging transmission method and an apparatus for the same in a wireless communication system are provided. Specifically, a method for transmitting paging by a eNodeB (eNB) in a wireless communication system is provided. The method may include receiving a paging message including paging count and a coverage enhancement (CE) level value from a mobility management entity (MME) and in case of receiving the paging message from the MME, transmitting paging information to a user equipment (UE) through a paging control channel (PCCH), wherein the CE level value is a CE level received from a eNB to which the UE is lastly connected.
