    摘要: An optical fiber connector for releasably coupling an optical fiber to an electro-optical module is disclosed. The optical fiber connector includes a housing, a strain relief, a fiber retention clip, and a pair of latching arms. The housing includes a housing bore defined through at least a portion of the housing and adapted to accommodate the exterior diameter of a typical optical fiber. The optical fiber extending through the strain relief and into the housing bore, terminating at an end of the housing. The optical fiber is retained by the housing by the utilization of the fiber retention clip. The latching arms are arranged to releasable attach the connector to an electro-optical device such that the optical fiber and an optical lens disposed in the electro-optical device are aligned.

    摘要: A data compression/decompression device and the system applying the same are provided. The system comprises a data storage device having a data transmission interface; a data generation device accessing a data in the data storage device via the data transmission interface; and a data compression/decompression device, coupled to the data storage device and the data generation device via the data transmission interface, for compressing/decompressing the data transmitted between the data storage device and the data generation device and managing an address mapping table which is the cross reference between an access address transmitted from the data generation device and a physical address of storing the data in the data storage device. Therefore, the object of data compression can be achieved without using the resources of the CPU, the memory space, the related software or driver to compress the data.

    摘要: A transponder assembly for use with fiber optic digital communication cables having multiple parallel optic fiber elements. The transponder assembly features separate transmitter and receiver ports and an electrical connector for connecting with computer or communication systems. The transponder assembly includes a parallel optic transmitter module and a parallel optic receiver module. The assembly also includes a circuit board on which a semiconductor chip useful for signal processing and the electrical connector are mounted. A Flex circuit is used in connecting the circuit board to the parallel optic modules. The semiconductor chip and electrical connector are mounted directly across from one another on opposite surfaces of the circuit board using ball grid arrays having overlapping attachment structures.

    摘要: An apparatus and a method for preventing a wafer mapping system of an SMIF system from being polluted by a corrosive gas remaining on wafers according to the present invention are disclosed. The wafer mapping system includes a plurality of mirrors and sensors used to detect the positions of the wafers. The apparatus of the prevent invention comprises a pipe having a plurality of holes thereon and a purge gas flowing inside the pipe, and is characterized in that the purge gas is emitted out from the plurality of holes toward the mirrors of the wafer mapping system, thereby preventing the mirrors from being polluted by the corrosive gas remaining on the wafers. The method of the prevent invention is characterized by emitting a purge gas from a pipe toward the mirrors of the wafer mapping system, thereby preventing the mirrors from being polluted by the corrosive gas remaining on the wafers.

    摘要: In a method and apparatus for generating musical accompaniment signals corresponding to a musical program, there is provided a recording medium which has an audio storage unit and a lyric storage unit separate from the audio storage unit. The audio storage unit and the lyric storage unit respectively have a plurality of audio music data and a plurality of lyric data corresponding to a plurality of the musical programs stored therein. The lyric data include encoded text data and timing information. In operation, the audio music data and the lyric data corresponding to a selected one of the musical programs are retrieved from the recording medium. The encoded text data and timing information retrieved from the recording medium are decoded to obtain decoded data, and bitmap data are then generated from the decoded data. The bitmap data are synchronized with the audio music data retrieved from the recording medium in accordance with the timing information. The audio music data retrieved from the recording medium are provided to a sound card to obtain an audio output. The bitmap data are provided to a VGA card to obtain a video signal.
