    摘要: A compact switch device of the present invention includes a casing having a depressible operating member mounted thereon for slidable movement between an inoperative and an operative position. A switch is mounted on the casing and opens and closes in response to the movement of the operating member. The switch device is spring biased to the inoperative position. A cam is mounted on either the casing or the operating member. A locking pin is mounted on the casing or the operating member not already supporting the cam. A closed loop cam groove includes a retaining portion of a generally V-shape and a convex guide portion spaced from and opposite to the retaining portion. The distal end of the lock pin is engageable in the retaining portion to hold the operating member in the operative position. A holder spring is provided to bias the distal end of the lock pin into the cam groove and to urge the distal end toward the retaining portion when the distal end of the lock pin is situated between the retaining portion and the convex guide portion.

    摘要: A navigation system and method for guiding a vehicle along a selected route of travel to a destination from a starting point using a display unit. In the navigation system, a positional relationship between a start road branched from a first known branching point (a start intersection from which a guidance of the vehicle along the selected route of travel is initiated) and entrance direction of the vehicle toward the first known branching point is clearly and distinguishably displayed on the screen of the display unit after the selection of the route of travel from the starting point to the destination so that the vehicle can corectly enter the start road at the first known branching point even if it has reached the first known branching point via any arbitrary route of travel from the starting point.

The closure comprises a closure body of a rigid metallic material, a score formed therein reaching halfways in the thickness direction of the metallic closure body for defining a portion to be opened, and an opening tab provided near a score shearing starting point through a bonding support. The bonding support is comprised of a polyamide-type adhesive containing 6.1 to 15.0 main-chain carbon atoms on an average per amide group and having a crystallinity of 15 to 40% and a dynamic modulus, determined at a temperature of 25.degree. C. and a relative humidity of not more than 30%, of 0.8.times.10.sup.10 to 3.3.times.10 .sup.10 dynes/cm.sup.2.

    摘要: A process for producing an epoxy-type lacquer, which comprises reacting a liquid epoxy resin having about one bisphenol A skeleton on an average in the molecular chain and derived from bisphenol A and an epihalohydrin, with bisphenol A in the presence of a catalyst in an inert organic solvent to prepare a concentrated solution of an epoxy resin having a number average molecular weight of from 2,000 to 10,000, adding an organic solvent to the concentrated solution to dilute it and maintain it at a temperature lower than that at which the catalyst is active, and mixing the resulting diluted solution with a solution of a resin acting as a curing agent for the epoxy resin. The resulting lacquer is especially useful for coating metallic containers.
