Abstract: A method for selecting an access network in a terminal of a mobile communication system according to one embodiment of the present specification comprises the steps of: if traffic is generated in the terminal, selecting an access network according to the characteristics of the generated traffic and network selection policy information; and transmitting and receiving the generated traffic via the selected access network. According to the embodiment, the present invention adjusts priorities of accesses given to users and applications in a wireless communication system including heterogeneous networks, thereby reducing processes for reselecting an access network of a user terminal, and reducing the cases of unnecessarily accessing a network having a low priority or requiring high costs for a long time. Therefore, the present invention can enhance user convenience and improve communication efficiency.

Abstract: A method that connects a User Equipment (UE) to an Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) network through a web browser for a Web Real-Time Communication (WebRTC) service is provided. The method, and a UE adapted to the method, downloads a web app for a WebRTC service and connects to an IMS network through a WebRTC client. The UE connects to the IMS network and is registered in the IMS network in such a way as to use a Universal Resource Locator (URL) of an enhanced Proxy-Call Session Control Function (eP-CSCF) obtained by establishing a Packet Data Network (PDN) connection of the UE through a web browser in the process of obtaining a URL of the eP-CSCF, or the obtained URL of an eP-CSCF to which the WebRTC client can connect by transmitting Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN) information of a network to which the UE is connected to a WebRTC Web Server Function (WWSF). Therefore, the UE can easily use WebRTC services.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a communication method and system for converging a 5th-Generation (5G) communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a 4th-Generation (4G) system with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT). The present disclosure may be applied to intelligent services based on the 5G communication technology and the IoT-related technology, such as smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car, connected car, health care, digital education, smart retail, security and safety services.Methods and apparatuses provide a service to user equipment through a dedicated core network. In one method, a base station, also referred to as eNB, receives a non-access stratum (NAS) message from user equipment (UE), and transmits a first initial UE message having the NAS message to a first mobility management entity (MME). Also, the base station receives a redirection request message having the NAS message from the first MME, and transmits a second initial UE message having the NAS message to a second MME. In another method, the MME receives the first initial UE message having the NAS message from the base station, and transmits the redirection request message having the NAS message when the MME fails to support a dedicated core network according to UE usage type information. If the redirection request message is transmitted, a second initial UE message having the NAS message is transmitted to a dedicated MME.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for controlling inter-PLMN handover based on CSG lists of equivalent PLMNs is provided. A method for receiving subscriber information of a terminal at a Mobility Management Entity (MME) includes transmitting an update location request message for the terminal to a Home Subscriber Server (HSS), and receiving an update location acknowledgement message with the subscriber information of the terminal from the HSS, wherein the update location request message comprises a list of equivalent Public Land Mobile Networks (PLMNs) among which the MME supports inter-PLMN handover of the terminal. The method and apparatus for controlling inter-plan handover to a CSG cell according to the present invention is characterized in that a control apparatus of a core network acquires the allowed CSG lists for determining a User Equipments (UEs) capability of access to a CSG cell and determines whether to permit inter-PLMN handover based on the allowed CSG lists.

According to one embodiment of the present specification, a traffic transmission path of the terminal capable of accessing both a 3GPP network and a non-3GPP network can be controlled in the network and the traffic transmission path can be determined according the states of the network and the terminal, thereby effectively utilizing limited communication resources.
