    Abstract: A mobile electronic device is provided. The mobile electronic device comprises a wireless modem configured to enable communication with at least one radio network node in a mobile communication network. The mobile electronic device also comprises a processor configured to cause the wireless modem to scan one or more frequency bands, assemble a first capability report based on the scan of the one or more frequency bands, and cause the wireless modem to transmit the first capability report to at least one radio network node in the mobile communication network.

    Abstract: A method for performing a listen-before-talk procedure in a first transceiver device (N1) for wireless electromagnetic communication in a frequency band (150) is disclosed. A first transceiver device (N1) configured to perform the method is also disclosed. The method comprises receiving at the first transceiver device (N1) a stream of data (11) from a second transceiver device (N2), and determining whether the second transceiver device (N2) is capable of receiving in only a single or in two polarization directions. If the second transceiver device (N2) is capable of receiving in two polarization directions, then the method comprises determining and using an energy threshold that is larger than a regulated energy threshold for listen-before-talk within the frequency band (150). If the second transceiver device (N2) is capable of receiving in only a single polarization direction or if the energy of the received stream of data (11) is smaller than the energy threshold, then constructing a signal to be transmitted within the frequency band (150) by the first transceiver device (N1).

    Abstract: Multi-beam multiplexing in mobile radio communication networks, specifically for initial network access transmissions, such as Random Access Channel (RACH) transmissions and other initial network access signals that affect the operation of the Random Access operation.     Abstract: The invention relates to cell re-selection as a consequence of UE mobility in a scenario where coverage enhancement (CE) is employed for multiple repetitions of messages communicated on a wireless link between the UE and the network, and where a CE policy defines a repetition level.
