    Abstract: Techniques are described to enable selective content sharing in a video conference. In one example, a conferencing system obtains first display content from a first endpoint device in a video conference session. The conferencing system streams the first display content to a second endpoint device in the video conference session and obtains second display content from the second endpoint device. While streaming the first display content to the second endpoint device, the conferencing system streams the second display content to a third endpoint device in the video conference session and prevents streaming of the second display content to the first endpoint device.

    Abstract: In some embodiments, a method receives a first request for a first time window and a first viewport position for a client that is viewing a 360 degree video. A first message is sent to indicate a computing device will push content in a stream for a first one or more time windows other than the first time window. The method pushes content based on the first viewport position for the first time window to the client. A second request is received to change from the first viewport position to a second viewport position. The method sends a second message to indicate the computing device will push content in the stream for a second one or more time windows without canceling the stream. The method pushes content based on the second viewport position in the 360 degree video for the second one or more time windows to the client.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses for improved content delivery are described herein. During delivery of content to one or more user devices of a content distribution network (CDN), a content session may be created for each user device. During each content session, each user device may send one or more upstream communications, such as heartbeat signals and bitrate requests, to the CDN. A monitoring module of the CDN may aggregate the upstream communications into session data. The monitoring module may use the session data to determine an impairment associated with content delivery to the one or more user devices.

    Abstract: Disclosed is distributed routing and load balancing in a dynamic service chain, receiving a packet at a first service instance, including a NSH imposed on the by a service classifier. The NSH includes a stream affinity code consistent for packets in a stream. The method also includes processing the packet at the first instance where the instance performs a first service in a service chain that includes second and third services. The first service instance accesses a flow table using the stream affinity code to select a second service instance performing the second service from among service instances performing the second service, and the first instance routes the packet to the selected second service instance upon egress from the first service instance. The method can include hashing the stream affinity code to access the flow table and access an available instance using the hash as a key to a CHT.
