摘要: A capacitor element having a terminal, an electric insulating material installed to cover the capacitor element, a wire connected to the terminal, and a reinforcing structure installed at the junction for connecting the terminal and the wire. In this constitution, the junction of the terminals and wires maintains mechanical strength and electrical insulation and is enhanced in reliability for a long period against mechanical stress or vibration to the capacitor from outside. Still more, invasion of moisture or dust into the capacitor can be prevented. As a result, the life of the excellent mechanical strength and electrical insulation is enhanced, and the capacitor having a stable reliability for a long time may be obtained.

摘要: Regarding an independently driven type spindle in a spinning machine, when a yarn breakage is occurred in a spindle 10, a brake operating member 35 of the spindle 10 is moved toward a spindle shaft 13. During the movement of the brake operating member 35, control surfaces 49 of the brake operating member 35 cause the stop/restart switches 46 and 47 to be made OFF between the electric driving motor 20 and alternate current lines S and T, thereby causing the motor 20 to be rotated under its own momentum. Then, braking parts 34 of the brake operating member 35 is pressed to the outer peripheral surface of the spindle shaft 13, thereby executing a mechanical braking operation. After the withdrawal of an end of broken yarn, the brake operating member 35 is released, so that a force of the springs 41 causes the brake operating member 35 to be detached from the spindle shaft 13, thereby canceling the braking operation. The movement of the brake operating member 35 also causes the stop/restart switches 46 and 47 to be made ON, thereby restarting the drive motor 20.

摘要: In a data transfer system in which when a first to fourth terminals require reading data, the data are read out of a first to fourth storages to be stored in a first and second buffer memories while a first and second virtual groups of storages are alternately switched every constant cycle, and thereafter a first and second data sending units send the data stored in the first and second buffer memories to the terminals; on the other hand, when the first to fourth terminals require writing data, received data is divided in a way to distribute the process loads of data read and data write of the divided data equally into a first and second data transfer units. At the same time, the data are stored in the first and second buffer memories of the first and second data transfer units, and thereafter the data are written into the first to fourth storages while switching the first and second virtual groups of storages alternately. As a result, the load of transferring data to the terminals is not concentrated on a particular data transfer unit in the data transfer system, even when the rate of request-to-reads from the terminals changes or differs from those of others.

摘要: By heating a glass sealing material, a center electrode is sealed and fixed within an axial bore of an insulator. Formation of a groove in a head portion of the center electrode makes it possible to protect the head portion of the center electrode from deformation under a pressure which is applied upon filling the glass sealing material in a powder form in the axial bore. The glass sealing material is therefore assured to flow to a peripheral side wall of a flange portion of the center electrode, thereby enhancing mechanical engagement between the center electrode and the insulator, that is, uniting strength for them. A spark plug is hence obtained with improved impact resistance and accordingly, with sufficient durability.

摘要: A digital TV broadcasting signal is demodulated to obtain a bit stream containing at least a first packet of a first program specific information concerning all TV programs conveyed by the digital TV broadcasting signal and first packets of the TV programs themselves. Selection data is entered for selecting at least one of the TV programs. In response to the selection data, only second packets are selected from among the first packets. The second packets contain only data of the selected TV program. The second packets are decoded. Further, the first packet and the second packets are output without decoding and accepted. The first program specific information is modified into a second program specific information concerning the selected at least one of the TV programs. The modification is executed after the first packet and the second packets are output. Or, the modification is executed before the first packet and the second packets are accepted.

摘要: A motion detection signal delivered from a mixer is output through a series circuit of a maximum value calculation portion and a minimum value calculation portion. In each of the calculation portions, calculation is performed within a block of 3-dot.times.3-line. Missing of motion detection is prevented from occurring in the maximum value calculation portion because the motion detection signal of the pixel under attention is calculated therein with the values within the block and, accordingly, the motion detection signal is expanded in the horizontal and vertical directions. A detection spread to a still picture portion occurring in the calculation portion is suppressed in the minimum value calculation portion because, when surrounding motion detection signals therein are lower than the motion detection signal of the pixel under attention, the motion detection signal of the pixel under attention is replaced with the lower value. With the described arrangement, the missing of motion detection is advantageously prevented without inviting the detection spread to a still picture portion.
