    摘要: First and second radiating conductors are concentrically formed on a top surface of a dielectric substrate, and a grounding conductor is formed on a bottom surface of the dielectric substrate. A feeding pin is connected to a power feeding point of the first radiating conductor. Shorting pins are connected to an inner circumferential portion of the second radiating conductor to be shorted by the grounding conductor. An interval between the radiating conductors allows the first and second radiating conductors to be electromagnetically coupled with each other. When the first radiating conductor is excited at a frequency fH by direct feeding from the feeding pin, the second radiating conductor is fed by the coupling, so that it is excited at a frequency fL lower than the frequency fH.

    摘要: A multi-band planar inverted-F antenna includes a floating parasitic element. For example, a planar inverted-F antenna includes first and second planar inverted-F antenna branches that extend on a dielectric substrate. The first planar inverted-F antenna branch is configured to resonate in response to first electromagnetic radiation in a first frequency band. The second planar inverted-F antenna branch is configured to resonate in response to second electromagnetic radiation in a second frequency band. The floating parasitic element is configured to electromagnetically couple to the second planar inverted-F antenna branch when, for example, the second planar inverted-F antenna branch is excited by the electromagnetic radiation provided via an RF feed (when the antenna is used to transmit). The floating parasitic element is also configured to electromagnetically couple to the second planar inverted-F antenna branch when the floating parasitic element is excited by electromagnetic radiation provided via free-space.

    摘要: An antenna assembly is designed to operate over a wide band from around 880 MHz to around 2,500 MHz by means of a monopole antenna element designed to operate from around 880 MHz to around 2,500 MHz typically from the GSM bands to the Bluetooth or IEEE 802.11b band. The operation band width of the assembly is increased by the provision of a conductive member located on a reverse side of the supporting substrate of the antenna. In one embodiment the conductive member is a standard panel mount SMA connector. The assembly is able to provide wireless operation in multiple frequency bands, not previously possible in a practical manner.

A parasitic element (202) is used with a dual band PIFA that operates in two RF bands, such as in the region near 800 MHz and 1.9 GHz, and adds a third band such as in the region near 1.575 GHz to support reception of Global Positioning System signals. This parasitic element (202) can conform to a case (704) of the cellular telephone (706).

This enhances both the portability and the durability. Also, the antenna is reduced to a chip size thus improving its mass-productivity and electrical characteristics.

    摘要: The invention provides An antenna device, comprising: a substrate made of an insulation material and including a first major surface and a second major surface face; a ground electrode provided substantially on the whole of the first major surface of said substrate; and an inverted F-shape antenna and a microstrip antenna respectively provided on the surface of the substrate. An open end of a radiation electrode of the microstrip antenna and a feeding electrode of the inverted F-shape antenna are capacitively coupled to each other. A first direction through the open end and ground end of the radiation electrode of the inverted F-shape antenna is substantially perpendicular to a second direction through the open end and ground end of the radiation electrode of the microstrip antenna. By the above arrangement, a mutual interference hardly occurs between the two antennas.
