Abstract:
A microwave oven comprises a magnetron having an anode, a cathode and a filament, and a high voltage transformer having a primary coil and a secondary coil for supplying a high voltage to the magnetron. The microwave oven further comprises a capacitor connected in parallel to the secondary coil of the high voltage transformer, forming a resonance circuit with the secondary coil. With this configuration, the performance of the magnetron is maintained by lowering the anode peak voltage applied thereto during the early non-oscillating period, and the circuit elements are protected from damage by removing the surge voltage.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a microwave oven including a magnetron, a power supply part supplying an AC power and a high voltage transformer generating a high voltage with the AC power from the power supply part, comprising a power controller part interrupting the power supply to the magnetron where it is determined that the voltage of the power supplied from the power supply part is lower than a predetermined allowable lower limit voltage. With this configuration, application of the voltage lower than the allowable lower limit voltage can be prevented, and in addition, the stability of the circuit can be enhanced.
Abstract:
A wall-mounted microwave oven and a control method for controlling a hood motor are provided. Here, the wall-mounted microwave oven having a main body forming a cavity for accommodating foods to cook, a casing enclosing the main body and forming a hood duct having an inlet located on a bottom area and an outlet located on an upper area, and a hood fan installed in the hood duct, includes a hood motor driving the hood fan, a first switching portion for switching a current supplied from an external electrical power source to the hood motor, and a microcomputer for controlling the rotational speed of the hood motor by adjusting an on/off time of the first switching portion, based on an external control signal. Thus, since the speed of the hood fan can be varied, conveniences of users can be achieved.

Thus, the size of the hood motor can be reduced, thus reducing a cost. Also, since the speed of the hood fan can be varied, ventilation and exhaust are performed within an optimal time to thereby seek conveniences of users.
Abstract:
The present invention can form a stable system by minimizing the sensitivity distribution of the system caused by the area difference of the object to be detected. This is achieved by adjusting the density of the empty holes formed in the object to be detected, thereby maintaining the effective area of the object to be detected constant.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of configuring a sensor pattern that linearly detects touch signals based on changes in the active area when a pen touches the ODA that constitutes the object detection device of the present invention installed on the conductive surface. It also pertains to a method of constructing a sensor pattern that minimizes moiré interference with the display device. As a result, the readability of pen-written characters is enhanced, and visibility is improved due to moiré avoidance.
Abstract:
The present invention operates multiple capacitors to minimize the fluctuation of voltage detected on the CDA signal line 200, thereby enhancing the resolution of the ADC. The object capacitance (Cobj) generated between the CDA 100 and the object 20 due to the appearance of the object 20 is detected in the form of voltage. By analyzing with an ADC of improved resolution, it is possible to detect the presence of the object 20 more reliably.
Abstract:
An induction heating cooker including a temperature sensor disposed between a plurality of working coils which are uniformly disposed below a cooking table and a heat transfer member to transfer heat from the working coils adjacent to the temperature sensor to the temperature sensor, thereby improving productivity and space utilization.
Abstract:
Provided is a touch input detection method that detects a contact or approach of a touch input means (90) such as a finger of a human body, an electric conductor or a touch pen on a touch panel (10) and produces an input signal. The touch input detection method includes the steps of: (a) detecting a first touch input; (b) calculating an area where the first touch input has been detected; (c) detecting a second touch input that occurs at a predetermined time interval after occurrence of the first touch input; (d) calculating an area where the second touch input has been detected; and (e) judging a change in the areas from the first touch input to the second touch input to thus produce a zooming signal. Accordingly, a zooming signal is produced according to a change in an area of a touch input, to thus implement a zoom gesture very simply, to also realize the zoom gesture with only one finger, and to thereby achieve a touch input operation compactly.
