摘要： A wall-mounted type microwave oven includes an exhaust fan assembly which increases an internal cooking chamber volume and allows a facing direction of its outlet to be easily changed. The exhaust fan assembly includes a fan case having an exhaust fan therein and a guide duct positioned on a side face of the fan case to guide exhaust gas toward the fan case. A lower portion of the fan case is disposed between the cooking chamber and the oven body, and communicates with an exhaust path of the microwave oven. An upper portion of the fan case protrudes upward from the oven body. Accordingly, a height of the cooking chamber is increased by a protruded height of the fan case. The fan case is shaped to have a square section and to have an inlet and an outlet at its side face and upper surface. The outlet of the fan case can be directed to a desired direction by separating the fan case from the oven body and fitting the fan case into the oven body with the outlet being directed to face the desired direction.

摘要： The present invention relates to a microwave oven, and more particularly, to a device for cooling electric equipments of hooded microwave oven. The device comprises a ventilation motor assembly 40 mounted on the top of a cavity 20, for forming both a flow of air for a hood function and a flow of air for dissipating heat from the electric equipments; and a suction grill 50 through which outer air is sucked to the top of the cavity 20 by suction force of the ventilation motor assembly 40. The electric equipments are positioned in a flow of the air that is sucked through the suction grill 50 to the top of the cavity 20 and flows to the ventilation motor assembly 40. According to the present invention, since a flow of air for dissipating heat from the electric equipments is linearly formed, its cooling efficiency and the reliability of the electric equipments are enhanced.

摘要： A cooking vessel used with microwave ovens, which produces steam through a microwave heating method and cooks food using the steam. The cooking vessel includes a lower body containing water therein and made of a microwave permeable material. A food supporting plate is seated, at its edge, on an upper edge of the lower body in such a way as to be spaced apart from a bottom of the lower body, and is made of a microwave blocking material. A plurality of perforations are formed on the food supporting plate to allow steam to pass. A lid covers the lower body, and is made of a microwave blocking material. A steam discharging hole is formed on the lid. The lid is seated at its lower edge on the upper edge of the lower body in such a way that the lower edge of the lid is spaced apart from the edge of the food supporting plate by a predetermined interval, thus allowing a predetermined amount of microwaves to penetrate into the lid.

摘要： An apparatus adapted to suspend a covering over a container in a microwave oven is disclosed. A center beam is supported by multiple support members each having a first and a second leg. The first end of each leg rests on the floor of the oven, and these leg ends are spaced apart so as to accommodate a container underneath the apparatus. The second end of each leg is positioned at ajunction location along with the center beam. The legs are adjustable in length so as to accommodate microwave ovens and containers of varying sizes. A covering is placed over the apparatus to prevent food splatters and to improve heating results. The apparatus may include a clip or other holder which serves to secure the covering to the apparatus. The entire apparatus may be disassembled for ease of storage or shipment.

摘要： A degradation device for degrading tires includes an enclosed chamber (3) providing an annular housing space for a tire (1) to be treated. A microwave generator is connected to a wave guide (18) for splitting the generated microwave energy into arms (20 and 19) which are provided with outlets which will direct the energy both externally and internally of the annulus of the housing space. The microwave energy will cause the tire to break down into constituent parts. The chamber (3) is reciprocated and rotated with respect to the tire so that the microwaves will be projected relatively evenly through the tire. An inert gas is introduced into the chamber at (29), to limit the possibility of combustion or oxidation of degradation products created by the process. Volatile gaseous products of the process are drawn off through the exhaust pipe (26). Solid degradation products are created and are removed at the end of the process.
