摘要: Embodiments include methods for a second radio access network (RAN) node configured to support positioning of user equipment (UEs) in the RAN. Such methods include receiving, from a UE, a request to resume the UE's connection to the RAN that is currently suspended. The request includes a first indication that UE had an ongoing positioning procedure with a first RAN node before the UE's connection to the RAN was suspended, and/or a second indication that the UE reported positioning measurements to the first RAN node before the UE's connection was suspended. Such methods include retrieving, from the first RAN node, positioning measurements made by the first RAN node during the positioning procedure and continuing the positioning procedure for the UE while the UE is connected to the RAN via the second RAN node. Other embodiments include complementary methods for the UE, the first RAN node, and a positioning node.

摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed for network slicing based visited or non-public network prioritization. In one embodiment, a method performed by a first Network Function (NF) in a home network of a wireless communication device in a roaming scenario comprises obtaining Steering of Roaming (SoR) information for the wireless communication device, the SoR information comprising a prioritized list of visited or non-public networks that are prioritized based on one or more network slices requested by the wireless communication device and/or one or more network slices to which the wireless communication device is subscribed. The method further comprises sending, towards the wireless communication device, a message comprising the SoR information. Embodiments of a first NF, embodiments of a second NF in the visited or non-public network and methods of operation thereof, and embodiments of a wireless communication device and method of operation thereof are also disclosed.

In one embodiment, a method performed by Radio Access Network (RAN) node comprises receiving, from a core network (CN) node, one or more parameters, in additional to a maximum data burst volume (MDBV) parameter, that describe one or more data volume characteristics of a Quality of Service (QOS) flow. In this manner, compared to always assuming the worst-case scenario with the MDBV, the RAN node has a more accurate understanding of the traffic characteristics, which allows the RAN node to optimally schedule radio resources to cater to the data volume.

摘要: There is provided a filter unit for wideband multicarrier FDD operation. The filter unit comprises an MXT, at least one isolator, and a filter bank. The filter bank comprises at least one more second BP filter structure than there are first BP filter structures for second BP filtering of the first BP filtered TX wideband multicarrier signal to provide the second BP filtered 15 TX wideband multicarrier signal.
