摘要: Embodiments include methods for a second radio access network (RAN) node configured to support positioning of user equipment (UEs) in the RAN. Such methods include receiving, from a UE, a request to resume the UE's connection to the RAN that is currently suspended. The request includes a first indication that UE had an ongoing positioning procedure with a first RAN node before the UE's connection to the RAN was suspended, and/or a second indication that the UE reported positioning measurements to the first RAN node before the UE's connection was suspended. Such methods include retrieving, from the first RAN node, positioning measurements made by the first RAN node during the positioning procedure and continuing the positioning procedure for the UE while the UE is connected to the RAN via the second RAN node. Other embodiments include complementary methods for the UE, the first RAN node, and a positioning node.

The node maintains a mapping between the ESSIDs and/or the BSSIDs and corresponding WLAN access points of the WT. Responsive to receiving a measurement report from a UE, the measurement report indicating an ESSID and/or a BSSID, the node associates the UE with a WLAN access point, based on said mapping. An interface may be established between the node and the WT.

摘要: A first wireless communication device belongs to a first of multiple groups of wireless communication devices. Devices in any given group are synchronized to the same timing reference and devices in different groups are not synchronized to the same timing reference. The first device receives a message that indicates, for each of one or more of the groups, a range of possible values for misalignment between the timing reference of that group and a common timing reference. The range accounts for uncertainty in that misalignment. The first device determines, based on the one or more ranges, intervals of times during which direct control signaling is expected to be received at the first device from one or more devices in one or more other groups. The first device then adjusts intervals of times during which it is configured to operate in an awake state to narrowly encompass the intervals of times during which the direct control signaling is expected to be received.

摘要: It is provided a method for enabling an SCTP packet to be encapsulated in a UDP packet the method being performed by a source network node. The method comprises the steps of: obtaining a source number based on an identifier of the source network node; obtaining a destination number based on an identifier of a destination network node; generating an SCTP packet, which comprises setting a source port of the SCTP packet to a predefined port number and setting a destination port of the SCTP packet to the destination number; generating a UDP packet, which comprises setting a source port of the UDP packet to the source number and setting a destination port of the UDP packet to the destination number; encapsulating the SCTP packet in the UDP packet; and sending the UDP packet for transport to the destination network node.
