Abstract:
The present invention relates to a switch control circuit, a switch control method, and a converter using the same.An input voltage rectified from an AC input in a converter is transmitted to an inductor, and output power is generated from an inductor current by the input voltage. The converter includes a power switch connected to the inductor to control the inductor current and a sense resistor having a first end connected to a ground and a second end connected to the AC input. At a time point that a sense voltage generated in the sense voltage reaches the peak point and then decreased to an on-reference voltage, the power switch is turned on. The on-reference voltage is a sense voltage at a resonance start time point between a parasite capacitor of the power switch and the inductor.

Provided is an apparatus and method for spatial reuse of resources using a directional antenna based on a resource contention in a wireless network. An apparatus for multiple accesses based on a resource contention using a directional antenna may use a resource contention period efficiently in a medium access control (MAC) by calculating an optimal value of an objective function for a delay time and a throughput.

A camera module socket device for blocking a path through which foreign materials may ingress is provided. The camera module socket device having a camera module and a socket into which the camera module is inserted includes a cap for securing the camera module in the socket, and a buffer member for closure formed between a surface of the camera module and the cap to enclose the periphery of a lens portion of the camera module, thereby preventing malfunction of the camera module and image quality degradation due to ingress of foreign materials into the lens portion and absorbing shock forces exerted at the top of the camera module socket device.

Provided is a three-dimensional (3D) ultrasound system for intuitively displaying a change in motion and a method of operating the 3D ultrasound system. The 3D ultrasound system may include a scan unit to generate ultrasonic data of an object through scanning, a coordinate determination unit to determine first coordinates corresponding to a top end of the object, and second coordinates corresponding to a bottom end of the object, from the ultrasonic data, and a display control unit to measure a vector length from the first coordinates to the second coordinates, and to display a color corresponding to the measured vector length by mapping the color to the ultrasonic data.
Abstract:
An apparatus for preventing withdrawing and insertion of a carriage of a circuit breaker is disclosed. When a circuit breaker main body is inserted, an interlocking unit operates by interworking with the carriage withdrawing and inserting preventing apparatus, and while the circuit breaker is being closed, a withdrawal and insertion handle prevents a lead screw from being rotated by the interlocking unit. Thus, when the circuit breaker performs a closing operation, unnecessary withdrawing and inserting operation of the carriage is basically prevented to thus prevent various safety accidents, a contact resistance, a temperature increase, and damage to a device resulting from a breakdown.
Abstract:
A monopolar membrane electrode assembly (MEA) for a fuel cell, for example, includes: an electrolyte membrane; anode and cathode electrodes formed on opposite surfaces of the electrolyte membrane, respectively; current collecting bodies that form electrical paths of electricity generated from an electricity generation reaction between the anode and cathode electrodes and the electrolyte membrane; and sensing elements to measure changes in operation state conditions during electricity generation and electrical connection. Since temperature and fuel concentration in the monopolar MEA having the above structure are detected on a real time basis, appropriate action can be taken whenever an abnormal operation thereof is detected.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a heating control method for a fuel cell vehicle, in which an additional heating source is used together with a typical electric heater to reduce power consumption and increase fuel efficiency as compared to the sole use of the electric heater. For this purpose, the present invention provides a heating control method for a fuel cell vehicle which comprises an electric heater for heating air supplied to the interior of the vehicle, and a heater core provided in a coolant line for cooling a fuel cell stack and heating the air supplied to the interior of the vehicle by heat exchange with the coolant discharged from the fuel cell stack. The method comprises: detecting a state of charge (SOC) of a battery when the interior temperature is lower than a predetermined temperature set by a driver and, if the SOC of the battery is above a predetermined lower limit, heating the interior of the vehicle by operating the electric heater by the power of a battery; heating the interior of the vehicle by operating the electric heater by the power generated by the fuel cell stack, if the SOC of the battery is below the lower limit; heating the interior of the vehicle using both the heater core and the electric heater, if the temperature of the coolant is above a predetermined temperature at which the fuel cell stack does not reach a normal operating temperature; and heating the interior of the vehicle using only the heater core while turning off the electric heater, if the temperature of the coolant is increased above a normal operating temperature of the fuel cell stack.

An apparatus and method for supporting a Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card in a mobile communication terminal including a plurality of modems are provided. The apparatus includes the SIM card for storing user information, and the plurality of modems each for providing a clock and for transmitting/receiving a signal by an independent interface with respect to the SIM card. Only a first modem of the plurality of modems controls a reset of the SIM card.

A receiving apparatus and method of a Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) system are provided. The receiving apparatus includes a clock generation/delay compensation unit for generating a clock, an antenna switching unit for temporally dividing signals received through multiple antennas by performing switching according to the clock, a radio frequency (RF) chain to be shared for converting the temporally divided signals into baseband signals, and an analog to digital converter (ADC) to be shared for converting the converted signals into digital signals and for outputting the converted signals according to the clock. Accordingly, the number of RF chains used to implement a MIMO RFIC is reduced.
