Abstract: Concepts and technologies are disclosed herein for providing and/or interacting with a profile verification service. A processor executing a profile verification service can receive a request to verify a user profile associated with a user of a social networking application. The processor can identify a computing device associated with the user profile, obtain location data that relates to the user profile and the computing device, and identify an activity associated with the computing device based upon the location data. The processor can determine if the user profile is accurate based upon the activity identified. If a determination is made that the user profile is accurate, the processor can verify the user profile. If a determination is made that the user profile is not accurate, the processor can update the user profile.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a method for processing an advertising request message, including, receiving an advertising request message from a mobile device, determining if an advertising exchange server associated with the advertising request is permitted to receive enhanced information associated with the mobile device if a service provider is permitted to provide location information associated with the mobile device responsive to determining that the advertising exchange server associated with the advertising request is permitted to receive the enhanced information, responsive to determining that the service provider is permitted to provide location information, adding location information associated with the mobile device to a header of the advertising request message, and transmitting the advertising request message to the advertising exchange server. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: In one example, a first plurality of health scores and a second plurality of health cores are calculated. The first plurality of health scores quantifies the health of a plurality of nodes in a telecommunication service provider network, where the plurality of nodes represents connectivity points in the network. The second plurality of health scores quantifies the health of a plurality of links connecting the plurality of nodes. A priority score is calculated that quantifies an importance of a traffic demand. A route over the plurality of nodes and the plurality of links is generated, based at least in part on the first plurality of health scores, the second plurality of health scores, and the priority score. The route delivers the traffic demand from a source to a destination in a manner that meets a need of the traffic demand without exceeding the need by more than the threshold.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, acquiring under ambient illumination an image of a label having an encoded region and an authentication region having a random distribution of reflective particles overlaying the encoded region. The encoded message is decoded from the image. An authentication image of the label is obtained according to an image capture configuration. The authentication image includes a reflection pattern of the random distribution of reflective particles. The reflection pattern is associated with the decoded message and an authenticity of the label is determined according to the association and based on a comparison of the reflection pattern to an authenticated reference reflection pattern. Authenticity of the label is determined responsive to the comparison indicating substantial match between the reflection pattern and the authenticated reference reflection pattern. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, determining whether a past throughput of past traffic communicated between a communication device and a communication network meets a first threshold value, resulting in a first determination; responsive to the first determination being that the past throughput meets the first threshold, transmitting an instruction to the communication device to restrict a first subsequent throughput of first subsequent traffic to no greater than a second threshold value; determining whether the first subsequent throughput has been restricted, resulting in a second determination; and responsive to the second determination being that the first subsequent throughput has not been restricted, taking one or more actions to enforce a second subsequent throughput of second subsequent traffic to no greater than a third threshold value, wherein the third threshold value is lower than the second threshold value. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, applying a setting voltage across first and second electrodes, wherein a nanowire with a first electrical resistance is electrically connected between the first and second electrodes, wherein the applying of the setting voltage causes a migration of ions from the first and/or second electrodes to a surface of the nanowire, and wherein the migration of ions effectuates a reduction of electrical resistance of the nanowire from the first electrical resistance to a second electrical resistance that is lower than the first electrical resistance; and applying a reading voltage across the pair of electrodes, wherein the reading voltage is less than the setting voltage, and wherein the reading voltage is sufficiently small such that the applying of the reading voltage causes no more than an insignificant change of the electrical resistance of the nanowire from the second electrical resistance. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: The concepts and technologies disclosed herein are directed to peer packet transport. According to one aspect disclosed herein, a scheduler system can receive a content delivery request to transport a data payload of content to a destination location by a specific time. A prediction system can identify a data path that meets connectivity between an origin location and the destination location with delivery of the data payload of content by the specific time. The prediction system can inform the scheduler system of the data path that meets connectivity between the origin location and the destination location with delivery of the data payload of content by the specific time. The scheduler system can coordinate, among a plurality of data courier devices, transport, along the data path, of the data payload of the content from the origin location to the destination location by the specific time.
