    摘要: A computer-implemented method, system, and program product for automatically reviewing a mapping between information models. The method includes: receiving a mapping between an element in the first information model to an element in the second information model. Each element is associated with an element identifier and an element value, and the mapping signifies a relationship between the element in the first information model and the element in the second information model. The method further includes comparing the received mapping against one or more known indications of suspicious mappings to determine if the received mapping resembles one of the indications of suspicious mappings. If the received mapping is determined to be suspicious, identifying the received mapping as one that requires review.

    摘要: In a method for simulating a measuring process of a workpiece, one or more virtual probes of a workpiece measuring machine are created. A vector of each of the virtual probes is calculated, and an appropriate vector for each of measuring points of a workpiece is acquired for a computerized drawing of the workpiece. The angle between the vector of each of the measuring points and the vector of each of the virtual probes is calculated. A virtual probe is determined for each measuring point according to the calculated angles. The measuring points are sorted according to the virtual probe of each measuring point, and the measuring programs of the sorted measuring points that relate to the same virtual probe are combined. The combined measuring programs are executed to determine whether the actual probe would collide with the workpiece.

A method of controlling sporadic data transmissions for such an apparatus is also disclosed, as well as a computer program for implementing the method.

    摘要: Techniques for estimating items (e.g., data item or objects) frequencies in large data sets are disclosed. For example, a technique for determining items and their frequencies at multiple levels of interest in a collection of nested bags includes the following steps. A hierarchy of a plurality of levels of nested bags and the levels of interest are inputted. Among the plurality of levels, a subset of bags is sampled from at least one level. At each level of interest, the frequency is counted of each distinct item in the bags obtained in the sampling step. At each level of interest, the item frequencies obtained in the counting step are extrapolated based on sampling ratios associated with the sampling step. At each level of interest, the items are sorted according to their frequencies obtained from the extrapolating step and those items with highest frequencies are retained. A bag may refer to one or more subsets or groups of data items or objects. Also, a bag may, itself, contain one or more other bags.
