摘要： The present invention provides a coated optical fiber in which a silica type optical fiber is coated with n layers (n being an integer of 2 or greater) of UV-curable resin, wherein the sum of respective contraction stress indices FI defined in the n layers of UV-curable resin by the following expression: FI [N]=(Young's modulus [MPa] of the UV-curable resin layer at −40° C.)×(cross-sectional area [mm2] of the UV-curable resin layer)×(effective linear expansion coefficient [10−6/° C.]/106)×(temperature difference 190[° C.]) is 3 [N] or less. The present invention can sufficiently prevent transmission characteristics from deteriorating in a low temperature environment.

摘要： When a gain control circuit is its maximum gain, an offset adjusting circuit generates an offset adjusting voltage so that an offset voltage included in an output signal of this gain control circuit becomes a target voltage within a dynamic range of a digital correction unit, and a control circuit adjusts an offset by adding the offset adjusting voltage to a control signal from a processing circuit in an adding circuit. In this case, a residual offset voltage included in an output signal of this gain control circuit is corrected by a digital correction unit. All of the electrical offset in the analog circuitry are not cancelled, but the offset adjustment is carried out to a range correctable by the digital correction circuit.

The ink tank is made to communicate with a waste ink tank by connecting the discharge port to the waste ink tank in a position lower than the discharge port, and a part of connection member is openable/closable by a valve. If the connection member is opened, ink is discharged from the discharge port of the ink tank to the waste ink tank. If impurities are deposited on the bottom surface of the ink tank, the impurities can be discharged with ink from the discharge port to the waste ink tank, thereby clogging in the nozzle head due to impurities can be reliably prevented.

摘要： A heat exchanger is constructed by tubes, corrugated fins and head pipes, which are assembled together. Herein, the tube is constructed by bending a flat plate whose surfaces are clad with brazing material to form a first wall and a second wall, which are arranged opposite to each other with a prescribed interval of distance therebetween to provide a refrigerant passage. Before bending, a number of swelling portions are formed to swell from an interior surface of the flat plate by press. By bending, the swelling portions are correspondingly paired in elevation between the first and second walls, so their top portions are brought into contact with each other to form columns each having a prescribed sectional shape corresponding to an elliptical shape or an elongated circular shape each defined by a short length and a long length. The columns are arranged to align long lengths thereof in a length direction of the tube corresponding to a refrigerant flow direction such that obliquely adjacent columns, which are arranged adjacent to each other obliquely with respect to the length direction of the tube, are arranged at different locations and are partly overlapped with each other with long lengths thereof in view of a width direction perpendicular to the length direction of the tube. The tubes, corrugated fins and head pipes are assembled together and are then placed into a heating furnace to heat for a prescribed time.
