摘要: A setting for white balance used by a camera during image-capturing can be reflected in a printer, thereby preventing, during printing, execution of such correction as negates an atmosphere of a light source in a recorded image in which the atmosphere has been intentionally allowed to remain. A camera used for a system of the present invention is a digital camera having a white balance process function of allowing the atmosphere of a photographing light source to remain in an image. During image-capturing, WB adaptation rate information indicative of a level of white balance correction is recorded on a recording medium as additional information. A printer reads the WB adaptation rate information for the camera via the recording medium to control white balance in accordance with the setting for the WB adaptation rate. For example, if the WB adaptation rate is less than 100%, then an AWB process executed by the printer is turned off to print the recorded image without changing its tints.

摘要: A dielectric resonator device including a circuit substrate with a top surface provided with transmission lines, and a bottom surface provided with a ground electrode; a dielectric substrate with opposite surfaces that are respectively provided with electrodes having circular openings so as to form a TE010-mode resonator; and an insulating layer disposed between the ground electrode of the circuit substrate and the electrodes of the TE010-mode resonator. The TE010-mode resonator is attached to the circuit substrate with an insulative adhesive. Accordingly, a current path remains unchanged even if the circuit substrate and the TE010-mode resonator are partially disengaged from each other, thereby achieving stable characteristics.

摘要: The present invention relates to a high-cleanliness steel having a high fatigue strength and high cold workability, and a method of making the high-cleanliness steel. The method adds a Li—Si alloy having a Li content between 20 and 40% and/or Li2CO3 as a Li-containing substance to a molten steel. The Li-containing substance is added to the molten steel after the completion of a series of steps of a ladle refining process including composition adjustment, temperature adjustment and slag refining. The high-cleanliness steel has a total-Li content between 0.020 and 20 ppm by mass and contains 1.0 or below oxide inclusion particle having a major diameter of 20 μm or above at a maximum in 50 g of the steel wire. The steel contains an oxide inclusion that has a CaO content between 15 and 55%, SiO2 content between 20 and 70%, an Al2O3 content of 35% or below, a MgO content of 20% or below and a Li2O content between 0.5 and 20%. The high-cleanliness steel has improved fatigue characteristics and improved cold workability.

摘要: A received light quantity detection device where high-sensitivity pixels and low-sensitivity pixels are formed is used for photometry. It is possible to perform measurement over the low range (for example, 0[EV] through 8[EV]with a single occasion of photometry. In the case that both the high-sensitivity pixels and the low-sensitivity pixels are saturated, it is possible to perform further measurement over the high range (for example, 8[EV] through 16[EV]) by narrowing the aperture or increasing the electronic shutter speed for retried photometry with a retried photometry. This reduces the time required to calculate a correct exposure value on image pickup apparatus such as a camera.

摘要: A composite image having a natural appearance is obtained when a synthesis target image is combined with a background image. By photographing a subject under different photographic conditions, a plurality of synthesis target images are obtained and the resulting image data is stored beforehand in a synthesis target image memory. A background image is acquired by photography and a suitable synthesis target image to be combined with the background image is selected by a circuit which searches synthesis target images. A color correction is applied to the selected synthesis target image by an image processing circuit and the synthesis target image following the color correction is combined with the background image. Since a synthesis target image suitable for combination with a background image is selected and then is subjected to a color correction and image synthesis processing, a composite image having a natural appearance is obtained.
