Abstract:
A conveyor/elevator web is provided and comprises transverse bars attached to rubber traction belts, wherein the transverse bars have a plurality of spaced outwardly extending fingers or projections in order to provide a means of attachment of either a flexible conveyor sheet and/or of the above rubber traction belts. Also at least some of the outwardly extending fingers or projections of the transverse bars provide a means of entrainment of the crop or material being conveyed/elevated.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a sheet conveying apparatus comprising a conveyance belt, on which stripe shaped electrodes each fed to a voltage different from that fed to one another are alternatively arranged, for conveying a sheet in attracting the sheet with electrostatic force and power supplying means disposed on an inner side of the conveyance belt for supplying voltage to the electrodes.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for conveying and/or transferring relatively vulnerable products, such as fruits, wherein the fruits are held in grippers while being conveyed and transferred, wherein said grippers comprise a first gripper portion and a second gripper portion, which are movable over sliding elements substantially in the direction in which the gripping force is exerted on the products.
Abstract:
A pallet conveyor apparatus for moving pallets, which carry components of a dynamo-electric machine, along and between routes of a manufacturing line is provided. The pallet conveyor apparatus includes a plurality of pallets, at least one substantially horizontal rail structure, at least one loop-shaped conveyor belt, and a drive for causing the conveyor belt to move along an upper track of the rail structure. The conveyor apparatus may be driven with a drive cartridge that fits within the rail structure. A pallet for use with the apparatus has a platform and a seat portion. The platform has an upper surface that supports the component. The seat portion has a substantially inverted nullUnull shape. The seat portion of the rail structure has a central surface and two opposing surfaces. The dimensions of the seat portion and the rail structure are such that when the seat portion fits over the rail structure a pallet will be prevented from falling off the rail structure.
Abstract:
A method of causing a wound-on member to contact a printed wiring board and conveying the printed wiring board by utilizing a frictional force produced between the wound-on member and the printed wiring board, the method including the steps of providing two conveying units each of which includes a wound-on member and two rotatable wheels on which the wound-on member is wound to have a straightly extending portion which straightly extends between the two rotatable wheels, such that the two conveying units are spaced from each other in a direction parallel to a printed wiring board, and such that the respective straightly extending portions of the two wound-on members of the two conveying units cooperate with each other to sandwich the printed wiring board in a direction substantially parallel to the printed wiring board, and conveying the printed wiring board by rotating the rotatable wheels of the two conveying units, and thereby moving the two wound-on members, while utilizing a frictional force produced between each of the two wound-on members and the printed wiring board.
Abstract:
A modular roller-top conveyor belt constructed of a series of rows of belt modules having hinge elements at opposite ends of each row. The hinge elements of each row are interleaved with the hinge elements of an adjacent row and interlinked by hinge pins to form an endless conveyor belt. Each of the belt modules includes a body section extending between opposite ends of each row in the direction of belt travel. Cavities formed in at least some of the modules open onto an upper conveying surface of the belt. Rollers residing in the cavities protrude onto the upper conveying surface to engage conveyed articles in rolling, low-friction contact. The rollers may be cylindrical rollers that rotate about axles, spherical balls that rotate in all directions, or caster-like roller assemblies.
Abstract:
For securing the position of the conveyor belt when starting the belt under load, a belt tensioning device, has a circulating conveyor belt, carrying idlers arranged between the carrying run and the return run of the conveyor belt, a drive mechanism, a power transmission device for moving the conveyor belt, a gear ring and a toothed belt for power transmission, the gear ring being allocated to the power transmission device and the toothed belt being allocated to the conveyor belt, wherein a guiding component part adapted to the edge area of the circulating conveyor belt and a contacting component part for direct contact with the surface of the conveyor belt are provided, and wherein the contacting component part is arranged inside the guiding component part.
Abstract:
A lumber staging device having a lumber receiving station and a lumber discharge station for positioning a supply of lumber of different lengths within arms reach of an operator of an automated saw. The lumber staging device comprises a first multi-level lumber conveying assembly including a first set of substantially horizontal conveyors and a second multi-level lumber conveying assembly including a second set of substantially horizontal conveyors to form multi-level pairs of corresponding substantially horizontal conveyors. The multi-level pairs include a lower conveyor assembly, an intermediate conveyor assembly and an upper conveyor assembly to convey lumber supported respectively thereon. Each conveyor assembly is operatively coupled to a corresponding conveyor drive to selectively convey lumber supported therebetween from the lumber receiving station to the lumber discharge station.
Abstract:
A multi-level conveyer mainly includes a plurality of carrier units connected at front and rear ends to two parallelly extended chains, and chain wheels provided at predetermined positions for the chains to pass there and turn to form more than one level of horizontal conveyance path on the conveyer. The multi-level conveyer can be mounted in a room with limited area while providing sufficient conveyance length and time to meet requirements in most drying operations and largely reduce power consumption required in drying.
Abstract:
A variable-width spacer for use in a conveying apparatus includes a first link and a second link on opposite widthwise side of the spacer. The links can move relative to each other in a widthwise direction of the spacer to vary its width. The spacer can be used to fill a gap between adjoining members of a conveying apparatus, such as between two conveyor belts.
