Abstract:
A clamp for holding containers, having two rigid gripping arms that are pivotably supported about at least one axis in opposite direction and have clamp structures at one end, a force accumulator which is operative between the gripping arms, gripping-arm closing levers as extensions of the gripping arms towards the other axis side, a closing cam which is rotatable between the closing levers, with at least one closing lever being actuatable by the closing cam via an elastic deformation area, the deformation area is a section of an arm which acts on the closing cam and which is constructionally separated from the gripping arm and which is positively coupled with the gripping arm for joint pivotable movement, and a defined deformation space is provided at least in a substantially undeformed state of the section between a stop on the closing lever and the section.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device (1) for transferring bottles (4), containers, or the like held by means of grippers (3), clips, clamps, or the like, from one transport star wheel (2a) to another (2b), or to a rinser, filler, or the like, wherein such bottles are held only in one plane, particularly below the neck ring. This is achieved in that the grippers (3) are positioned on a plane in the transfer area, having a delivery opening and transfer opening positioned one in front of the other in the transfer area, and having at least one diverting element (6) for sliding or transferring the bottle (4) from a gripper (3a) of a turning circle to a gripper (3b) of the other turning circle.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a conveyor system for the onward conveyance of bottles or similar containers (2) from a container treatment machine, comprising at least one container guide (9) and at least one conveyor element moving the containers (2) along the container guide in a conveying direction (A), characterized in that the container guide (9) is designed for hanging guidance or neck guidance of the containers (2), and that that conveyor element provided is at least one screw conveyor (10), which can be driven by rotation about a screw axis (AS) and which is designed to interact with the upper side of the containers (2) above the container guide (9).
Abstract:
Clamp (1) for holding a container (2) by a neck (3) in a container handling machine (5), said clamp comprising a body (7) for mounting the clamp (1) on a rotary support (4), and a pair of resilient arms (11) protruding sidewise from the body (7) and each provided with a gripping jaw (12), wherein each resilient arm (11) comprises: an inner section (13) extending along the body (7) and connected thereto at a first back end junction (16); an intermediate section (14) extending substantially parallel to the inner section (13) and connected thereto at a front end junction (17); an outer section (15), provided, at a front end, with a gripping jaw (12), and extending substantially parallel to the intermediate section (14) and connected thereto at a second back end junction (18).
Abstract:
Disclosed is a device for conveying pro-filled objects, particularly bottles or parisons comprising an annular collar between two sliding planes with the aid of at least one conveying apparatus, at least one part of which rests against the object in a frictionally engaging manner and is supported on receiving elements or pressure rollers. The part of the conveying apparatus that rests against the object in a frictionally engaging manner is resilient or is mounted in a resilient fashion.
Abstract:
A conveying means (1) is described having running rollers (7) which can be supported on a guide (2). At least one running roller (7) is mounted on a roller lever (12a) which can be pivoted between a first and a second position with the aid of a pivoting mechanism (13, 33) and can be locked in a position. In order to make a conveying means of this type simpler in structural terms and less susceptible to wear, it is proposed to equip the pivoting mechanism (13, 33) with a toggle lever (14) which is connected to an actuating element (21), wherein the toggle lever comprises a first and a second lever element (14a, 14b) which are connected to one another via a joint (15).
Abstract:
An upstream side wheel includes grippers B which do not perform opening and closing operations for themselves, and a downstream side wheel includes grippers A each having an opening and closing mechanism, and in a delivery position in which both the wheels are adjacent to each other, a plastic bottle 1 is delivered from the gripper B to the gripper A. Here, if the upstream side wheel or the downstream side wheel abnormally stops, the grippers A are switched from a use state to a retreat state. Thereby, interference between plastic bottles gripped by the upstream side grippers and the grippers of the downstream side wheel is avoided. Even if one of the wheels abnormally stops, the other wheel can be continuously operated without increasing the equipment in size.
Abstract:
When a bottle 4 made of resin is irradiated with an electron beam while it is being held by a gripper 2, an area of the bottle 4 which is shielded from the electron beam by the gripper 2 is minimized. The gripper has a pair of supports 22A, 22B positioned on opposite sides of the bottle made of resin, and abutments 24A, 24B disposed respectively on the supports 22A, 22B for holding the bottle 4 made of resin, each of the abutments 24A, 24B comprising two thin plates 26A, 28A, 26B, 28B which are vertically spaced from each other. The abutments 24A, 24B hold the bottle 4 by gripping a neck 4a of the bottle 4 on its opposite sides. While holding the bottle 4, the supports 22A, 22B are held out of contact with an outer surface of the bottle 4, allowing the electron beam to travel around the neck 4a to sterilize the entire surface of the bottle 4.
