Abstract: A system and method of managing an on-demand electrolytic reactor for supplying hydrogen and oxygen gas to an internal combustion engine. The system minimizes reactor's power consumption and parasitic energy loss generally associated with perpetual reactors. The system comprises a plurality of sensors coupled to the reactor measuring a plurality of reactor parameters, an electronic control unit coupled to the plurality of sensors and the engine, and a reactor control board coupled to the reactor and the electronic control unit. The electronic control unit: monitors the plurality of reactor parameters and the plurality of engine parameters; determines a reactor performance level; determines an engine performance level; determines a change in the engine performance level to forecast a future engine demand level; and determines an ideal reactor performance level corresponding to the engine performance level or the future engine demand level. The reactor control board regulates the reactor by modifying at least one of electrical current supplied to the reactor, electrical voltage supplied to the reactor, and temperature of the reactor.

Abstract: A transfer apparatus for receiving the chair seat of a wheelchair and supporting the chair seat in the base of a washing enclosure. The transfer apparatus has a chair support member including a chair support track section that can be positioned in the washing enclosure base, a bridge portion with a bridge track section that is movably mounted to the chair support member. The transfer apparatus includes a lock system usable to secure the bridge portion in an in-use position and engaged with the wheelchair. A first lock inhibits rotational motion of the bridge portion. The first lock includes a retractable locking member that is biased to an extended, locking position. A second lock is usable to prevent longitudinal separation of the bridge portion and the wheelchair. The first and second lock can be automatically engaged when the bridge portion is moved to the in-use position.

Abstract: A method and system for processing payment during an electronic commerce transaction is described herein. The system includes: a mobile device configured to provide an electronic wallet storing a payment card, the payment card comprising card payment information, and a card security credential. The system may also include a coordination server configured to receive a request to conduct the electronic commerce transaction, and send an activation message to the mobile device to activate the electronic wallet. When the electronic wallet is activated, the mobile device may be further configured to: receive a card selection input indicating selection of the payment card for payment in the electronic commerce transaction; verify a security input against the card security credential of the payment card; and send the card payment information and confirmation that the payment card was present during the verifying for use in completing the electronic commerce transaction.

Abstract: A user motion apparatus has a track and a motion assembly. A mounting assembly movably mounts the motion assembly to the outer track surface. The mounting assembly has a first track member connected to the motion assembly and a captive arm with a first arm portion connected to the motion assembly. The first track member is movably mounted to the outer track surface and includes a coupling section extending through the outer track surface. The captive arm has a second arm portion extending through the outer track surface to an engagement height. The second arm portion is configured to engage the coupling section at the engagement height. The second arm portion maintains engagement with the coupling section at the engagement height as the first track member moves along the track whereby the first track member and second track member cooperate to maintain the motion assembly on the track.

Abstract: A method and computer program product for performing a plurality of processing operations. A plurality of processor nodes each include one or more operational instances. Each processor node includes criteria for generating its operational instances. The processor nodes are linked together in a directed acyclic processing graph in which dependent nodes use data from the operational instances of upstream nodes to perform a node-specific set of processing operations. Dependency relationships between the processor nodes are defined on an operational instance basis, where operational instances in dependent processor nodes identify data associated with, or generated by, specific upstream operational instances that is used to perform the node-specific set of operations for that dependent operational instance. The processing graph may also include connectors nodes defining instance-level dependency relationships between processor nodes.

Abstract: Systems and methods for obstacle avoidance with a self-driving vehicle are provided. The system comprises a processor connected to the self-driving vehicle and a sensor in communication with the processor. The sensor is configured to detect objects. The processor is configured to receive a measurement of the self-driving vehicle's speed, and define a sensor region based on the speed. The processor can determine that an object detected by the sensor is within the sensor region, and then initiate a fail-safe routine. The sensor region may be defined based on a range parameter. The sensor region may be defined based on the stopping distance of the vehicle. The sensor region may be redefined when the vehicle's speed changes.

Abstract: Various embodiments are described herein for systems and methods for allowing user at a client terminal to interacts with a graphical user interface having a DGGS globe to perform spatial analysis on DGGS spatial data based on a spatial query on unified spatial data that may be obtained from distributed geospatial data sources having different data formats. The spatial analysis results can include a resulting collection of cells that can be displayed on the DGGS globe and/or aggregated spatial statistics that can be displayed in a DGGS legend at the graphical user interface. In one aspect, the spatial analysis can be iteratively performed to obtain a refined resulting collection of cells and aggregated spatial statistics. In another aspect, the resulting cells and/or aggregated spatial statistics can be added to a geospatial data source that can be accessed by another client terminal that is performing other geospatial analysis.
