Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for handling a SCell deactivation timer in a wireless communication system are disclosed herein. In one method, a network node configures a UE with a first SCell. The network node configures the UE to use a first SCell deactivation timer for the first SCell. The network node configures the UE with a SPS resource on the first SCell. The network node configures the UE not to use the first SCell deactivation timer if a length of the first SCell deactivation timer is shorter than a SPS interval of the SPS resource.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed from the perspective of a first device. In one embodiment, the method includes the first device performs sensing on a data resource pool, and the first device selects/derives at least a first data resource from the data resource pool based on the sensing result of the data resource pool. The method further includes the first device transmits a first control information on a first control resource, wherein the first control information allocates or indicates the first data resource. The method also includes the first device performs a first data transmission on the first data resource to at least one second device. Furthermore, the method includes the first device determines or derives a first set of feedback resource(s) based on the first control resource and/or the first data resource; and the first device receives a first set of feedback transmission(s) on the first set of feedback resource(s) from at least the one second device, wherein the first set of feedback transmissions are associated with the first data transmission.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for triggering solving mismatch between sidelink BSR and available sidelink transmission in a wireless communication system are disclosed. In one embodiment, the method includes a relay UE establishing a first layer-2 link and a second layer-2 link between the relay UE and a remote UE, wherein the first layer-2 link and the second layer-2 link have two different source identities and a same destination identity. The method further includes the relay UE receiving a sidelink grant from an eNB. The method further includes the relay UE using the sidelink grant to serve the first layer-2 link and the second layer-2 link.

The method also includes performing the sidelink transmission for a very first data unit of the PDCP entity on the sidelink radio bearer, wherein a sequence number of the very first data unit is set to the state variable.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed from the perspective of a network node. In one embodiment, the method includes the network node transmitting a first message with a DRB (Data Radio Bearer) configuration to a UE (User Equipment) for establishing a default DRB for a PDU (Packet Data Unit) session, wherein the DRB configuration includes a QFI (QoS Flow Id) configuration used to indicate whether a QFI field is present or not in uplink for the default DRB and the QFI configuration is always set to a value indicating the QFI field is present in uplink for the default DRB. The method further includes the network node establishing the default DRB with a presence of the QFI field in uplink. The method also includes the network node receiving a SDAP (Service Data Adaptation Protocol) PDU with the QFI field via the default DRB from the UE.
