Abstract:
An elastic buffer module including a memory unit, a write control module, and a read control module is provided. The memory unit receives, stores, and outputs a data sequence from a transmitting side. The write control module removes at least part of auxiliary data from the data sequence and writes the data sequence that has the auxiliary data removed into the memory unit. The read control module reads the data sequence from the memory unit and adds auxiliary data to the data sequence to adjust a write state of the transmitting side and a read state of a receiving side. Additionally, an elastic buffering method of a transmission interface is also provided.
Abstract:
Methods for treating abnormal glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c) levels in a patient in need thereof, wherein the provided methods comprise administering to a patient in need a therapeutically effective amount of an Interleukin-1β modulator. Also, the invention provides compositions comprising at least one lipid modifying agent and an IL-1β modulator.
Abstract:
A server system includes a rack, a power supply module, a switch, and a plurality of servers. The rack can be divided into a plurality of rack units. The rack units are parallel to each other and vertically arranged. The power supply module and the switch are disposed in close proximity to each other in at least one of the rack units. The power supply is adjacent to the rear side of the rack. The switch is adjacent to the front side of the rack. Each of the servers is disposed in one of the other rack units and electrically connected to the power supply module and the switch.
Abstract:
A process for preparing the drug-loaded cyanoacrylate nanoparticles is described. The cyanoacrylate nanoparticles which effectively deliver biological and therapeutic agents are synthesized by miniemulsion polymerization with surfactant, pluronic F127 or F68. Before initiation of polymerization, active agents with particularly highly hydrophobicity are dissolved in cyanoacrylate monomer. Compared with the drug-loaded polyalkylcyanoacrylate nanoparticles produced by emulsion polymerization, those produced by miniemulsion polymerization possess higher loading and encapsulation efficiencies. While the content of dissolved agents increases, furthermore, the loading and encapsulation efficiencies increase concurrently.
Abstract:
Controlled release oral solid dosage form for the reduction of serum cholesterol levels in humans include a drug comprising an alkyl ester of hydroxy substituted naphthalenes (e.g., lovastatin) and a controlled release carrier, such that the dosage form provides a mean time to maximum plasma concentration (Tmax) of the drug which occurs at about 10 to about 32 hours after oral administration on a once-a-day basis to human patients. The dosage form provides a therapeutically effective reduction in serum cholesterol levels. Methods of reducing serum cholesterol levels in humans are also disclosed.
Abstract:
The present invention provides methods of treating type II diabetes using combinations of diacerein or its derivatives with other antidiabetic agents. The methods may also allow improving glycemic control of type II diabetes patients and/or reducing side effects and/or cardiovascular risks of antidiabetic agents.
Abstract:
A server deployment system and a method for updating data are provided. A system management server is added to the server deployment system for providing an update data. In a server system, a main server receives the update data from the system management server. The update data includes a controller firmware and a main server software. A firmware updating instruction is transmitted to a device controller to allow the device controller to update its original firmware into the controller firmware. If the controller firmware is successfully updated, the main server updates its original software into the main server software. If the main server software is not successfully updated, a firmware rollback instruction is transmitted to the device controller to allow the device controller to rollback to its original firmware. If the main server software is successfully updated, the system management server is notified.
Abstract:
A package-base structure of a luminescent diode and its fabricating process. The package-base structure includes a substrate having thereon a holding space; an insulating layer extending from a bottom surface of the holding space to the bottom of the substrate; an through hole defined in the insulating layer; and a conductive layer disposed over the insulating layer. The insulating layer decouples the current flow and heat flow to increase the lifetime of the package-base structure together with the luminescent diode. In the fabricating process, the insulating layer is formed by anodic etching to allow the insulating layer have a porous structure.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a MTJ stack for an MRAM device. The MTJ stack includes a pinned ferromagnetic layer over a pinning layer; a tunneling barrier layer over the pinned ferromagnetic layer; a free ferromagnetic layer over the tunneling barrier layer; a conductive oxide layer over the free ferromagnetic layer; and a oxygen-based cap layer over the conductive oxide layer.
