摘要： An image processing system (10) obtains image sequences and assembles a presentation therefrom. The system has a camera (12) for capturing image sequences, a random-access electronic memory (16) for temporary storage of the image sequences, an input reader for accepting pre-programmed instructions from a first storage medium, a control panel with a display (18) for viewing image sequences (64) and presenting pre-programmed instructions to the operator and an operator interface for accepting responses to the pre-programmed instructions. A control logic processor (20) executes pre-programmed instructions and arranges the presentation from the captured image sequences stored in random-access electronic memory (16), according to operator responses. An output writer records the presentation onto a storage medium.

摘要： An appeal estimation system for estimating a personal appeal of a candidate individual to an observer including a digital image capture device and a soft-copy display. The system further includes a data processing system configured to implement the steps of designating a set of proxy individuals; providing one or more digital images for each proxy individual; determining personal appeal values of each proxy individual to the observer; capturing one or more digital images of the candidate individual using the digital image capture device; determining image similarity metrics between the digital images for the candidate individual and each proxy individual; determining similarity values between the candidate individual and each proxy individual responsive to the determined image similarity metrics; estimating the personal appeal of the candidate individual to the observer by combining the personal appeal values for the proxy individuals; and displaying an indication of the estimated personal appeal on the soft-copy display.

摘要： A method for estimating a personal appeal of a candidate individual to an observer, comprising: designating a set of proxy individuals; providing one or more digital images for each proxy individual; determining personal appeal values of each proxy individual to the observer; providing one or more digital images for the candidate individual; determining image similarity metrics between the digital images for the candidate individual and the digital images for each proxy individual; determining similarity values between the candidate individual and each proxy individual responsive to the determined image similarity metrics; and estimating the personal appeal of the candidate individual to the observer by determining a weighted combination of the personal appeal values for the proxy individuals, wherein the weighted combination uses weighting coefficients that are determined responsive to the similarity values between the candidate individual and the corresponding proxy individual.

摘要： A charging display system and method for operating a display system are provided with the method comprising sensing the presence of a wirelessly rechargeable device proximate to or on a surface through which a presentation area of a display can present image information; identifying a type of the wirelessly rechargeable device; obtaining device representation having features that are related to a portion of the presentation area that can be occupied by the presence of the identified type of rechargeable device; determining a position and orientation of the rechargeable device proximate to or on the surface; and segmenting the presentation area into a wirelessly rechargeable device portion and a graphic presentation portion outside of the determined of the rechargeable device portion. A wireless power signal is transmitted through the rechargeable device portion and graphic information related to the rechargeable device is displayed in the graphic presentation portion.

The accessory has a trigger button and an image capture system adapted to capture an image in response to actuation of the trigger button. The accessory also has a body adapted to be detachably connectable to the image capture device with the body including, a holding unit for receiving a removable metadata source having metadata stored therein; a communication interface for communicating with the removable metadata source; and a trigger sensor for generating a trigger signal when the trigger button of said image capture device is depressed. The communication interface obtains metadata from the removable metadata source in response to the trigger signal and stores the metadata in a metadata memory so that the metadata is associated with the captured image.
