Abstract:
Systems and methods provide techniques to support design specific testing for programmable logic devices in accordance with one or more embodiments. For example in one embodiment, a method of generating configuration data for a programmable logic device includes mapping a design for the programmable logic device, wherein the mapped design incorporates scan test logic; placing and routing the mapped design; and generating configuration data based on the mapped design, wherein the incorporated scan test logic is disabled and not selectable within the programmable logic device configured with the configuration data. The method may further include generating a second configuration data based on the mapped design, wherein the incorporated scan test logic is enabled and selectable within the programmable logic device configured with the second configuration data.
Abstract:
The invention relates to the novel chemical compounds of the formula (I): (I) in free or salt form, its use in the treatment of NET and/or SERT mediated conditions, e.g., depression, vasomotor symptoms, e.g., hot flashes and other diseases or conditions mediated by NET and/or SERT.
Abstract:
Disclosed are various embodiments of systems and methods for receiving shipment parcels at materials handling facilities. A parcel receiving system has an imaging tunnel through which shipment parcels received at a materials handling facility are passed. While a shipment parcel is passing through the imaging tunnel, a camera captures at least one image of the parcel. The parcel image is electronically analyzed to discover various tracking information and to detect various types of exceptions, such as damage to the parcel or defective tracking information. In addition, the captured image is stored in order to create a visual record of the parcel at the time of reception. This record may be used in a variety of ways, such as resolving or tracking exceptions or providing feedback to the vendor or shipment carrier. In addition, the parcel image may be viewed by a user to enable the user to detect and/or resolve an exception. Thus, the overall process of receiving parcels is facilitated, and the percentage of parcels diverted to an exception bin may be decreased.
Abstract:
Systems and methods are disclosed herein to provide logic block slice architectures and programmable logic block architectures along with control logic architectures in accordance with embodiments of the present invention. For example, in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, a programmable logic device includes a plurality of programmable logic blocks, with at least one of the programmable logic blocks having at least a first, a second, and a third logic block slice of different logic block slice types.
Abstract:
The invention discloses maize bZIP transcriptional factors, namely, ABP2, ABP4 and ABP9, the genes encoding these factors, and the use thereof. The transcriptional factors are proteins having an amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO: 2, 4, or 6, or proteins derived therefrom by substitution, deletion or addition of one or more amino acid residues of SEQ ID NO: 2, 4, or 6, and having the same activity as a protein shown by SEQ ID NO: 2, 4, or 6. The ABP2, ABP4 and ABP9 genes encoding these factors, respectively, are the DNA sequences having an identity of more than 90% with a sequence shown by SEQ ID NO: 1, 3 or 5 and the encoded proteins having such same functions. These genes are important for breeding plant varieties with an enhanced tolerance to abiotic stresses and for improving plant tolerance to abiotic stresses.

Abstract:
An apparatus for powering an implant includes first energy interface elements, a removeably attachable holding device and a first energy source, such as a battery. An energy conversion circuit converts first energy into second energy which is transmitted within the body of the patient to the implant. Also, an apparatus for providing information to an implant that includes first energy interface elements and a housing that includes a processor operatively coupled to the first energy interface elements and an energy source operatively coupled to the processor. The processor is structured to generate an information signal and cause the signal to be transmitted within the body of the patient for delivery to the implant. Associated methods are also provided.
Abstract:
A compact spectroscope is sufficiently lightweight for use in combination with a microscope for analyzing samples using Raman analytical techniques. The Raman spectroscope includes a housing detachably mountable to the microscope. The housing contains at least one source of radiation. One or more filters are positioned at desired angles across the beam path provided by the source of radiation. The spectroscope includes a variety of components operatively connected to source of radiation capable of providing one or more Raman beams, as well as a variety of components for processing beam constituents for microscope analysis. A fiber optic probe is provided for examining large samples or samples at remote sites. A computer or other electronic reader may also be attached to the Raman spectroscope for viewing analytical data.
