    摘要: A method and a system for communication between devices in proximity, a network side device and a User Equipment (UE) are disclosed. The method includes that: a network side device determines whether UEs meet a direct Device to Device (D2D) communication condition; when the network side device determines that the UEs meet the direct D2D communication condition, the network side device informs the UEs of the result of the determination, and configures resources for direct D2D communication for the UEs according to requirements of the UEs; and when the network side device determines that the UEs do not meet the direct D2D communication condition, the network side device configures resources for architecture communication for the UEs according to the requirements of the UEs. The disclosure can implement D2D communication between devices in proximity, reduce network load and relieve the dependence of the D2D communication on a network.

    摘要: The disclosure discloses a method for sending trigger message to a Machine Type Communication (MTC) User Equipment (UE), including that: an MTC server sends the trigger message to an MTC InterWorking Function (MTC-IWF); the MTC-IWF packages the trigger message as a short message, and sends the short message to a serving node of the MTC UE via an interface T5; and after receiving the trigger message sent by the MTC-IWF via the short message, the serving node sends the MTC UE the trigger message via control signalling or a short message. The disclosure further discloses a system for sending the trigger message, and an MTC UE. With the disclosure, the trigger message can be sent to the MTC UE via an interface T5.

    摘要: The present invention provides a method for maintaining a large number of connections. The method comprises: when there is no data transmission between a User Equipment (UE) and a network, a network device deletes a radio bearer and reserves UE context information related to link restoration and a default bearer; when data needs to be transmitted between the UE and the network, the network device establishes a bearer connection with the UE according to the reserved UE context information related to link restoration. At the same time, the present invention provides a UE and system for maintaining a large number of connections. By using the method, the UE and the system of the present invention, a large number of UE connections can be maintained effectively, the network load can be reduced and the connection recovery process can be accelerated.

Embodiments of the present document further provide a system for implementing a PS SMS and a user equipment. By means of the scheme of the present document, the PS SMS can be implemented in an EPS system.

Through the scheme of the present invention, the problem of how the validity time in the trigger information is set in the SMS and how to process in the network node that the SMS passes can be solved.
