Abstract:
A kit for dispensing liquid includes a cap for attachment to a container, the cap defining an outlet. An inner tube is attached to the cap for insertion into the container, a first end thereof being in communication with the outlet and a second end telescopically extending below the container's liquid level. A pump is situated on the cap for selectively pumping air into the container through the inner tube. In one embodiment, a cap vent enables air to be drawn into the pump for transfer into the container so as to urge liquid to flow through the inner tube to the outlet. In another embodiment, a cap vent is positioned to maintain a continuous flow of liquid through the inner tube after the pump has initiated a siphon effect. In either embodiment, an outer tube connects the cap outlet with a dispensing mechanism for selectively dispensing liquid.
Abstract:
A dispenser (1) for filling a to-be-filled part (3) with a hardenable, viscous, pasty compound (6), includes a multi-part housing (21) having telescopingly arranged within each other, telescoping housing parts (22, 23) and a dispensing opening (9), a supply chamber (16) for storing the hardenable, viscous, pasty compound (6), a variable pump chamber (17) for delivering the compound through the dispensing opening (8) and adjoining the supply chamber (16), a cover (18) for covering the pump chamber (17) and displaceable relative to the pump chamber (17) between a first position, in which the pump chamber (17) has an initial volume, and a second position in which the pump chamber (17) has a reduced volume; and a reset spring (32) arranged outside of the pump chamber (17) for biasing the pump chamber cover (18) to the first position.

Abstract:
A dispenser for dispensing metered amounts of liquid or paste-like products has a cylindrical reservoir having an open bottom and an upper end with an intake valve. A plunger is arranged axially movably in the cylindrical reservoir and closes off the open bottom of the cylindrical reservoir. A dispensing head is arranged on the upper end of the reservoir. The dispensing head has a bell-shaped dispensing pump having elastic sidewalls and a pump head with a through opening having an outlet valve. The dispensing pump together with the intake valve and the outlet valve delimits a closed pump chamber. The outlet valve is manufactured as a monolithic part of the pump neck such that with a simple working step the entire through opening of the pump neck is closable by a valve flap of the outlet valve.
Abstract:
A device for containing and dispensing a fluid that is capable of dispensing a predetermined quantity of a fluid on demand which is adaptable to a wide variety of purposes and which is small, flat and thin and may be easily distributed, attached to consumer products or carried by a user. Also shown is a method of dispensing single doses of a fluid.
Abstract:
A device for generating a spray of mist or fine droplets includes a spinning rotor within a mist chamber. The rotor has inner walls which taper conically outwardly from the open bottom of the rotor to a hole near the top of the rotor. Liquid is pumped by a finger actuated pump from a cartridge module into a bowl surrounding the bottom end of the rotor. A spray is created as the liquid is formed into droplets as it passes through the hole in the rotor under centrifugal force. A directional light source is used for aiming the spray.
Abstract:
A metered dose inhaler is described having an improved electronic counting means to indicate the doses remaining in the aerosol canister component of the inhaler assembly.
Abstract:
A fluid substance dispenser including a container defining an elongate chamber to contain the fluid substance. The container is closed at one end by a movable piston and at its other end by a transverse fixed wall from which there extends, outwards from the chamber, an elongate appendix the free end of which is positioned to correspond with a hole provided in a deformable cap defining with the fixed wall a compression chamber. The edge of the cap is elastically urged to seal against said end when the cap is in its rest state, whereas it separates partly from it when the cap is pressed to dispense the fluid substance.
Abstract:
A fluid dispensing unit includes a hollow support enclosing a collapsible reservoir or container. The container has a one-way valve at its outlet for directing flow through the valve into a metering chamber. The metering chamber has an outlet connected to another one-way valve which valve prevents any backflow of contaminants into the container after fluid is dispensed. As the fluid is dispensed, the container can be collapsed to ensure complete evacuation of the fluid. Further, the metering chamber can be completely collapsed to ensure that the dispensing unit is completely empty.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a distributor for pasty material. A pushbutton member (101) is provided with a distribution conduit (105) having a lateral outlet. The pushbutton member being slidable longitudinally with respect to a guide means (110) which is fixed with respect to the body of the distributor. The distribution conduit being sealingly connected to an element for carrying the flow of pasty material to the conduit (105). The pushbutton member (101) acting on a spring-action element causing it to be returned to the released position, and on a compression element forming part of the element for carrying the flow of pasty material. The distributor is characterised in that it includes a masking element (113) which is fixed with respect to the body of the distributor (116). The element leaving the outlet orifice (116) of the distribution conduit (105) open when the pushbutton member (101) is depressed and masking the orifice (116) when the pushbutton member (101) is released. The invention is used for distribution operations in the fields of cosmetology, hygiene and health, pharmaceuticals and foodstuffs.
