Abstract:
Floor covering, including hard floor panels which, at least at the edges of two opposite sides, are provided with coupling parts, cooperating which each other, substantially in the form of a tongue and a groove, wherein the coupling parts are provided with integrated mechanical locking elements which prevent the drifting apart of two coupled floor panels in a direction (R) perpendicular to the related edges and parallel to the underside of the coupled floor panels, and provide a snap-action coupling.
Abstract:
Floor covering, of the type consisting of the type consisting of oblong, and more particularly rectangular, strip-shaped hard floor panels with a layered structure, which extend in parallel rows, characterized in that it comprises floor panels of at least two different lengths, whereby these different lengths are realized at the manufacturer's.
Abstract:
Floor covering, made of floor elements, which, at least at two opposite sides, comprise a male and a female coupling part, which allow that two of such floor elements can be interconnected at the respective sides at the respective sides by pushing one of these floor elements with the associated male coupling part, by means of a downward movement, home into the female coupling part of the other floor element, wherein at least one of said coupling parts, either the male coupling part or the female coupling part, is made as least partially in a filled synthetic material composite, such as extruded wood.
Abstract:
Sectional flooring is provided. The sectional flooring includes first, second, and third floor boards (10,20 and 30) and a coupling member (40) for connecting the first and second floor boards (10 and 20) that are arranged to be adjacent to each other in a longitudinal direction. The coupling member (40) includes a base portion (41) placed over-adjacent first and second floor boards (10 and 20), a pair of side hooks (42) protruding from opposite ends of the base portion (41) toward top surfaces of the first and second floor boards (10 and 20), and a pair of cantilever hooks (43) spaced apart from each other by a predetermined distance and protruding from a center of the base portion (41). Each of the cantilever hooks (43) includes a hook step (431). The hook step (431) includes an upper portion formed with an inclined surface inclined at a predetermined lead angle (OL) and a lower portion is formed with an inclined surface inclined at a predetermined return angle (OR).
Abstract:
Flooring material comprising sheet-shaped floor elements with a mainly square or rectangular shape. The floor elements are provided with edges, a lower side and an upper decorative layer. The floor elements are intended to be joined by means of joining members. The floor elements are provided with male joining members on a first edge while a second edge of the floor elements are provided with a female joining member. The male joining member is provided with a tongue and a lower side groove while the female joining member is provided with a groove and a cheek, the cheek being provided with a lip. The floor elements are provided with a male vertical assembly joining member on a third edge while a fourth, opposite, edge is provided with female vertical assembly joining member. The floor elements are alternatively provided with a male vertical assembly joining member on a third edge while a fourth, opposite, edge also is provided with male vertical assembly joining member. Adjacent male vertical assembly joining members are hereby joined by means of a separate vertical assembly joining profile. Two adjacent edges of a floor element can hereby, at the same time, and in the same turning motion, be joined with a floor element adjacent to the first edge and a floor element adjacent to the third or fourth edge.
Abstract:
A panel for use in constructing a mat or a road and method for same is provided. The panel can include a wafer having at least three sides operatively coupled to an edge having a complementary profile for overlapping and attaching to another edge coupled to another wafer. The edge can be attached to the wafer using a scarf joint or a mortise and tenon joint. The complementary profile can include a lap joint, a tapered lap joint, an S-shaped lap joint or a modified lap joint for use with fasteners for attaching two edges together.

Abstract:
The invention provides a new floor covering panel and floor covering system in which the floor covering panels include first and second generally planar surfaces, first and second side edges containing first and second complementary coupling members, respectively, and an adhesive composition selectively applied to at least a portion of at least one of the first and second coupling members. The adhesive composition providing the adhesive bond may be applied to at least one of the first or second coupling members during the floor covering manufacturing process. After a floor covering system is assembled, the adhesive composition provides a substantially non-refastenable bond between mated floor covering panels.
Abstract:
A locking system for mechanical joining of floorboards includes horizontal joining of a first and a second joint edge portion of a first and a second floorboard respectively at a vertical joint plane; vertical joining of the first and second joint edge portions; wherein the tongue, the tongue groove, the locking element and the locking groove have a configuration that allows insertion of the locking element into the locking groove by inward angling of the second floorboard towards the first floorboard while maintaining contact between the joint edge portions, and wherein the tongue, the tongue grove, the locking element and the locking groove have a configuration that allows insertion of the locking element into the locking groove by a substantially vertical snap action.
