    Abstract: A rotational extrusion molding die and a slender metal workpiece made with same are introduced. The rotational extrusion molding die includes a female mold device, a male mold device, and a rotation driving device. The female mold device is symmetric about an axis to define a cavity corresponding in shape to the slender metal workpiece. The male mold device is movable controllably along the axis relative to the female mold device, allowing the metal blank to pass through the cavity and thereby turn into the slender metal workpiece. The rotation driving device drives the female mold device to rotate about the axis relative to the male mold device. The slender metal workpiece thus manufactured has continuous metal flow lines which extend continually along the axis and along an arc defined by the axis, thereby improving the slender metal workpiece in mechanical properties, mechanical strength, and damping capacity.

    Abstract: A nocturnal vehicle counting method based on a mixed particle filter is introduced in that, in a nocturnal environment, a rear lamp of a vehicle is the most remarkable feature of the vehicle and forms a high-brightness region of an image of the vehicle. The method involves detecting the high-brightness region of an image of the vehicle to thereby detect the rear lamp of the vehicle. The method further involves operating a particle filter structure which, coupled with the detection of a moving high-brightness region, can detect and track the rear lamp of the vehicle simultaneously, thereby enhancing competitiveness and incurring low costs.

    Abstract: A micro jet gas film generation apparatus aims to eject a gas to a work object which is desired for cooling or insulating from heat. The micro jet gas film generation apparatus has a spout formed at a diameter of 5-100 μm to generate a gas film on the work object. As the diameter of the spout of the micro jet gas film generation apparatus is small, the micro jet gas film generated from the spout cannot produce a large eddy due to the lack of sufficient energy, hence can maintain a thin film after a long distance ejection to improve cooling and heat insulation performance. Moreover, due to the small diameter of the spout, it also consumes less gas and can reduce the amount of gas required.

    Abstract: A process for preparing a phase change microcapsule having a thermally conductive shell is introduced. The thermal conductivity of the encapsulation materials for the phase change microcapsules is increased by adding thermally conductive nano-materials. The vinylsilane compound is polymerized with the acrylic monomer to form the copolymer first, and then the thermally conductive inorganic material is added. Thereafter, the phase change microcapsule having the phase change material as the core and the thermally conductive material-containing copolymer as the shell is prepared. The polar functional groups on the surface of the thermally conductive inorganic material condense with the vinylsilane compound to form chemical bonding, thereby substantially increasing the compatibility between the thermally conductive inorganic material and the copolymer. Therefore, the thermally conductive material can be dispersed stably during the encapsulation of the microcapsules, and the phase change microcapsule having the thermally conductive shell can be obtained successfully.

    Abstract: A combustion furnace includes an inner shell, an outer shell, a gas inlet piping and a flame inhibiting cover. The inner shell defines a receiving cavity therein. The inner shell defines a plurality of first gas holes around the periphery of a top portion thereof. The inner shell defines a gas inlet hole at a bottom thereof.
