For example, a processor deployed in a communication network may receive a request for the service from a mobile endpoint device, determine a route of the mobile endpoint device, determine a route of the vehicle-based mobile node, and assign the service to the vehicle-based mobile node when the route of the mobile endpoint device and the route of the vehicle-based mobile node coincide.

Abstract: Methods, computer-readable media, and devices are disclosed for providing a notification of an anomaly in a media content that is associated with an event type. For example, a method may include a processing system including at least one processor for detecting a first anomaly from a first media content, generating a first anomaly signature for the first anomaly, obtaining a notification of a first event, the notification including an event type, time information, and location information of the first event, correlating the first anomaly to the notification of the first event, and labeling the first anomaly signature with the event type. The processing system may further detect a second anomaly from a second media content that matches the first anomaly signature and transmit a notification of a second event of the event type when it is detected that the second anomaly matches the first anomaly signature.

Abstract: Methods, non-transitory computer readable media and apparatuses for decrypting an image are disclosed. For example, a method captures a portion of an encrypted image and decrypts the portion of the image using a decryption key. The portion of the image contains partial information for an adjacent portion of the image. The method then displays the portion of the image that is decrypted and also displays the adjacent portion of the image using the partial information for the adjacent portion of the image. Another method includes capturing a first portion of an image that is encrypted using a first key and a second key, decrypting the first portion of the image using a first key and displaying the first portion of the image that is decrypted.

Abstract: Devices, computer-readable media, and methods for assembling a course for a subject are described. For example, a method may include a processing system having at least one processor identifying a plurality of content segments of a plurality of content sources of a subject having greater than a threshold similarity, and determining that a first topic is part of a core topic of the subject based upon a number of instances of the first topic within the plurality of the content segments. The processing system may then receive a request from a user device for a course for the subject, assemble the course for the subject including at least one of the plurality of the content segments having the first topic that is determined to be part of the core topic, and present the course to the user device.

Abstract: A method includes receiving, at a server from a user device, a request for media content. The request identifies a first personal quality profile. The method includes identifying, at the server, a version of the media content to send to the user device based on first media quality preferences indicated by the first personal quality profile. The method includes, in response to a determination of unavailability of the version from a content source: retrieving, at the server from the content source, a particular version of the media content; and modifying, at the server, a visual attribute of the particular version to generate the version. The method further includes sending the version from the server to the user device.

Abstract: A method includes receiving, at a server computing device, a request to stream media content to a user device. The request is associated with data identifying a personal quality profile. The method includes retrieving, via the server computing device, the personal quality profile associated with the data. The personal quality profile indicates media quality preferences. The method includes determining, via a processor of the server computing device, a version of the media content to send to the user device based on the media quality preferences of the personal quality profile and based on a delivery bit rate. A quality of service is detected for network nodes on the content delivery path. The detected quality of service is compared with a predicted quality of service based on the model; a network anomaly is detected based on the comparing. A mobile sensor device is identified based on a current location and/or other qualities, such as intrinsic properties, previous sensor data, or demographic data of an associated user of the mobile sensor device. Data is collected from the mobile sensor device. The data collected from the mobile sensor device is aggregated with data collected from other sensor devices, and content generated based on the aggregated data is delivered to a user device.
