Abstract:
The invention relates to an electrical plug connector which comprises an insulated housing, a metallic shell, two terminal sets, and a circuit board. The insulated housing includes a front portion and a rear portion. The front portion extends forwardly from the rear portion and an inside of the front portion forms a receiving cavity. The metallic shell covers the insulated housing. Each terminal set is composed with a plurality of terminals. Each terminal includes a contact portion, a retaining portion, and a soldering portion. The retaining portion is retained in the insulated housing. The soldering portion extends backwardly from the retaining portion. The soldering portions are arranged as a upper row and a lower row in symmetry and the soldering portion is in spring arm type. The circuit board is inserted between the upper row and the lower row of the soldering portions. The upper row and the lower row of the soldering portions clip elastically the circuit board.
Abstract:
An electrical plug connector includes a metallic shell, and two conductive contact members. The two conductive contact members are respectively received in a top concave region and a bottom concave region of the insulated housing. When the electrical plug connector is inserted into a metallic shell of the electrical receptacle connector, each conductive contact members of the electrical plug connector comes in contact with the inner surface of the metallic shell of the electrical receptacle connector and a low-impedance grounding path is established between the metallic shell of the electrical plug connector and the metallic shell of the mating electrical receptacle connector through each conductive contact member.
Abstract:
An electrical receptacle connector, provided to connect with an electrical plug connector, includes a metal shell, an insulation housing and a conductive piece. The conductive piece is disposed at a tongue portion of the insulation housing and includes a contact portion, two laterally soldering portions and an abutting portion. The contact portion is disposed at a rear contact region of the tongue portion, the two laterally soldering portions are respectively extending from two sides of the contact portion, and the abutting portion is extending from the contact portion to attach on a base portion of the insulation ho thus abutting against an inner wall of the metal shell.
Abstract:
A USB electrical receptacle connector includes a metal shell, an insulation housing, upper-row terminals, and lower-row terminals. The metal shell defines a receptacle cavity therein for receiving the insulation housing. The insulation housing includes a base portion and a tongue portion extending forward from the base portion. The upper-row and lower-row terminals adjacent to the upper-row terminals are held on the insulation housing. The lower-row terminals include signal terminals and power terminals held on the insulation housing and adjacent to the signal terminals. The power terminals and the signal terminals are aligned at the same level. Each power terminal includes a second body, a second contact portion, a second extending portion, and a second tail portion. Wherein, the width of the second body, the width of the second extending portion, and the width of second tail portion are relatively greater than those of a conventional terminal.
Abstract:
An electrical connector to be connected with an Next Generation Form Factor (NGFF) interface is disclosed, including a base, a plurality of first terminals, and a plurality of second terminals. A plurality of first terminal slots parallel disposed on one side of the base for the first terminals to be plugged thereinto. A plurality of second terminal slots parallel disposed on the other side of the base for the second terminals to be plugged thereinto. The first terminal has a stair-like structure having a first plugging part, a first connecting part, a second connecting, a third connecting part, and a first bonding part. The present invention discloses an improved first terminal structure from having only one abutment piece to having a stair-like structure with a plurality of connecting parts.
