Abstract: Methods and systems for wireless communication are disclosed. In one aspect, a method includes generating device specific transmission control information for each of two devices, transmitting the transmission control information for each device over different frequencies, and transmitting data to each of the devices as part of a communication according to the respective transmission control information. In some aspects, the transmission control information for each device is encoded based on an identifier of the device. For example, in some aspects, an error detection value such as a cyclic redundancy check, is exclusive or'ed with an identifier of the device, such as an AID, PAID, or group identifier. The resulting value is transmitted along with the transmission control information. A device receiving the wireless frame may only be able to decode its own transmission control information, as the decoding is also based on the receiving device's identifier.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer-readable media, for partial bandwidth feedback based on punctured sounding. Punctured sounding is used by a transmitting device that omits portions of a channel bandwidth based on a puncturing pattern. The puncturing pattern may be based on an exclusion bandwidth zone to avoid transmissions on portions of channels that may interfere with an incumbent system transmission. The puncturing pattern may be indicated in a null data packet announcement (NDPA) to inform the receiving device that a subsequent NDP will be punctured. The receiving device may determine the feedback by measuring the portions of the NDP that are not punctured. Beamforming may be enhanced by using punctured sounding between two beamforming endpoints.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer-readable media, for multiplexing clients in a wireless communication network. In one aspect, a wireless station (STA) receives a preamble including a first wireless local area network (WLAN) signaling field from an access point (AP). The first WLAN signaling field includes first and second indications of first and second channel bandwidths. The first channel bandwidth includes a first set of subchannels and used by the AP to communicate with a first set of stations. The second channel bandwidth may include the first set of subchannels and a second set of subchannels and used by the AP to communicate with a second set of stations. The STA may identify a location of at least one second WLAN signaling field for the STA based on the first and second indications of the first and second channel bandwidths.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are disclosed for communicating over a wireless communication network. One such apparatus can include a memory that stores instructions and a processor coupled with the memory. The processor and the memory can be configured to identify a transmission mode for a transmission of a signal; select a tone plan for transmission of the signal within a 320 MHz total channel bandwidth or a 240 MHz total channel bandwidth, where the tone plan includes a 256 point tone plan, 512 point tone plan, 1024 point tone plane, 2048 point tone plan, 4096 point tone plan, or some combination thereof, and where the tone plan is selected based at least in part on the transmission mode; generate the signal according to the tone plan; and transmit the signal over the 320 MHz total channel bandwidth or over the 240 MHz total channel bandwidth.

Abstract: Techniques are described for wireless communication. A method for wireless communication at an access point may include identifying a number of stations to receive data from the access point, and generating a downlink frame to transmit the data to the identified number of stations. The downlink frame may include a first signaling field (e.g., a wireless local area network (WLAN) signaling field) directed to the identified number of stations. The first signaling field may include a first segment and a second segment. The first segment may include information common to each of the identified number of stations. The second segment may include at least one information block. Each information block may be separately encoded for each of the identified number of stations. The method may also include transmitting the downlink frame to the identified number of stations.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. An access point (AP) may broadcast or multicast a wakeup transmission to wakeup radios (WURs) of a group of wireless and determine to retransmit the first wakeup transmission (e.g., for redundancy). The AP may transmit a second wakeup transmission to the WURs, the second wakeup transmission including an indication that the second wakeup transmission is a retransmission of the first wakeup transmission. The wireless devices may receive the indication that the second wakeup transmission is a retransmission, and may power up a main radio to receive a beacon based on whether or not the previous or originally wakeup transmission was received (e.g., determined via the indication included in the received wakeup message). In some cases, the AP may identify that some wireless devices failed to receive the first wakeup transmission, and may transmit a second wakeup transmission to those identified stations.

Abstract: An access point (AP) may determine a time resolution for values indicative of wakeup signal transmission times based on a wakeup schedule of a station (STA) and a clock drift value for the STA and may transmit, to a primary radio of the STA, an indication of the time resolution. The AP may identify a transmission time of a wakeup signal for the STA and determine a value indicative of the transmission time. The AP may transmit, to a wakeup radio of the STA, the wakeup signal as a packet that includes the value indicative of the transmission time. The STA may determine the transmission time of the wakeup signal based on the wakeup schedule, the indication of the time resolution, and the value indicative of the transmission time and may update a local clock timing based on the transmission time.
