Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to uplink communications with transmission on-off patterns and frequency-hopping in a shared radio frequency band are provided. A first wireless communication device communicates, with a second wireless communication device, a configuration indicating a plurality of uplink (UL) transmission on-off patterns that are offset from each other in time. The first wireless communication device communicates, with the second wireless communication device in an unlicensed band, a first UL communication signal based on a first UL transmission on-off pattern of the plurality of UL transmission on-off patterns.

Abstract: Synchronization of listen before talk (LBT) back-off for synchronous access in unlicensed spectrum is disclosed. For nodes of a coordinated group of nodes, when one or more such nodes detects a failed LBT attempt, it pauses the contention widow countdown at the current counter value. According to such aspects, a procedure may be provided that specifies when such nodes can restart the contention window countdown using the current counter value or when the nodes can redraw the pseudo-random number for the contention window countdown in order to synchronize the contention window counters.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. An access point (AP) may configure power parameters for sidelink communications between user equipments (UEs). The power parameters may be configured based on the UEs operating within an AP service area. In some examples, an AP may transmit one or more signals to the first UE, and the first UE may determine the power parameters based on receiving the signals. Additionally or alternatively, the first UE may be configured to transmit one or more reference signals to the AP, and the AP may configure the power parameters based on receiving the reference signals. The first AP may indicate the power parameters in a sidelink configuration transmitted to the first UE. The first UE may communicate with the second UE on a sidelink channel in accordance with the sidelink configuration, which may improve efficiency and reliability of the sidelink communications.

Aspects of the disclosure describe using sidelink resources to identify possible interference (e.g., including cross-link interference) in a first resources used for communications between a base station and a user equipment (UE). With such techniques, a base station may transmit a conditional grant to a UE that schedules resources for the UE to use to communicate with the base station (e.g., either uplink or downlink). The UE may monitor sidelink resources to identify an indication of interference for the resources scheduled by the conditional grant. Different UEs may exchange messages or may transmit energy over the sidelink network to indicate resources are being used to communicate between base stations and UEs. The UE may transmit an acknowledgement or a negative acknowledgement to the base station indicating whether the resources scheduled by the conditional grant are to be used by the UE.

In some examples, the indication of the schedule of resources may be received in a confirmation of the schedule established by the second wireless device or, in some examples, in a request to establish the schedule.
