Abstract: A method for full body motion tracking includes receiving tracking signals from a plurality of sensors associated with an upper body of a person, and based on the tracking signals, determining motion features and joint features. The method further includes training a diffusion model that includes a multi-layer perceptron (MLP) network, and generating a multiple inputs to the trained diffusion model, the inputs including the motion features and the joint features. The method includes providing the inputs to the trained diffusion model to generate multiple outputs. The outputs include sequences of full body poses, the sequences of full body poses including upper body poses and lower body poses.

Abstract: A switchable waveplate includes a substrate, a first electrode layer on the substrate, an alignment layer on the first electrode layer and including alignment patterns formed thereon, a liquid crystal layer on the alignment layer, and a second electrode layer on the liquid crystal layer. The alignment patterns are determined based on angles of interest at a plurality of regions of the switchable waveplate. The liquid crystal layer includes liquid crystal molecules that are arranged according to the alignment patterns and are pre-tilted when no electric field is applied to the liquid crystal layer. The first electrode layer and the second electrode layer are configured to apply electric fields of different magnitudes to a plurality of zones of the switchable waveplate.

Abstract: A wearable device with a display screen has both an image presentation area and a camera portion. Abstract: A light field display is composed of a light source assembly (LSA), a collimating lens, an incoupling section, a spatial light modulator (SLM), and gratings. The LSA includes point light sources that emit light at different time periods. The collimating lens collimates light from the point light sources. The incoupling section incouples the collimated light to a waveguide. The SLM spatially modulates the collimated light. The gratings outcouple spatially modulated light from the waveguide, and for any given point light source of the point light sources, the given point light source has a respective corresponding grating of the gratings that outcouples from the waveguide light that originated from the given point light source. The spatially modulated light output in each time period forms a respective virtual emitter in an eyebox, and over the different time periods the virtual emitters in aggregate form at least one virtual object.

Abstract: According to examples, a wearable device may include an imaging component, at least one wireless communication component, and a controller. The controller may activate the at least one wireless communication component to perform a wireless scan of at least one radio available to respond to the wireless scan. The controller may also receive, through the at least one wireless communication component, wireless scan data from the at least one radio and may embed the wireless scan data as part of a media metadata. The wireless scan data may be used to determine a location estimate of the at least one radio and thus, the wearable device. The location estimate of the wearable device may also be used to geotag media captured by the wearable device without using a GPS receiver on the wearable device or when a GPS receiver is unable to track a current location.

Abstract: An organic field effect transistor includes a channel structure having a photoalignment layer and an organic semiconductor layer disposed directly over the photoalignment layer, where a charge carrier mobility varies along a thickness direction of the channel structure. The channel structure may define an active area between a source and a drain of the transistor and may include alternating layers of at least two photoalignment layers and at least two organic semiconductor layers. Each photoalignment layer is configured to influence an orientation of molecules within an overlying organic semiconductor layer and hence impact the mobility of charge carriers within the device active area while also advantageously decreasing the OFF current of the device.
