摘要: Provided is a technology for increasing accuracy of position estimation by estimating a position of a signal source based on an error due to altitudes of a sensor and a signal source and an error due to a pitch of an aircraft as well as an error due to curvature of the earth. At this time, a position estimation method may include receiving measurement data from a plurality of sensors, estimating first position data of the signal source based on the measurement data, identifying an altitude error of the first position data, and estimating second position data that is data obtained by correcting the first position data based on the altitude error.

摘要: A tag writing device includes a conveying unit, an antenna, an acquiring unit, a determining unit, a selecting unit, and a deciding unit. The acquiring unit acquires reception intensities about a plurality of wireless tags. The determining unit determines an intermediate position between a start position and an end position as a position where a sum of reception intensities acquired while a mount is conveyed from the start position to the intermediate position and a sum of reception intensities acquired while the mount is conveyed from the intermediate position to the end position are closest. The selecting unit selects, as a target tag, the wireless tag, the intermediate position of which is determined as a position within a prediction range. The deciding unit decides a relative positional relation between the wireless tag and the antenna at a time when writing is performed.

摘要: Systems and methods for facilitating the sorting of assets to sort locations. In various embodiments, a sort employee scans an indicia using a user device, which stores asset data corresponding to the stored asset. As the sort employee nears a sort location (e.g., a delivery vehicle) with the asset and the user device, the user device automatically communicates wirelessly with a sort location receiver to associate the asset with data indicative of the sort location where the user deposits the asset. In various embodiments, a device may determine whether the user device is proximate the appropriate sort location for the item, and may generate an alert upon a determination that the user device is proximate an incorrect sort location.

摘要: This invention relates to devices, systems, and methods for location tracking and proximity detection. The invention uses transmitting devices with more than one transmission range. In various embodiments, the invention uses a primary device to transmit a near-range signal and a medium-range signal. In other embodiments, the invention uses a secondary device to receive these signals and, on the basis of the received signals, generate alerts, transmit signals, or do both. In further embodiments, the invention uses another device to provide the location of the secondary device, the primary device, or both devices. This invention may be used for contact tracing, hand hygiene compliance monitoring, and location tracking.

摘要: A picture frame and methods of setup, gifting, and/or use. Network connection allows digital frames to be set up remotely by a first user for a second user. The first user can upload photos from electronic devices or from photo collections of community members before the second user receives the frame device. The frame is thus ready for display upon powering on by the second user. An integrated camera is used to automatically determine an identity of a frame viewer and can capture gesture-based feedback. The displayed photos are automatically shown and/or changed according to the detected viewers. The photos can be filtered and cropped at the receiver side. Clustering photos by content is used to improve display and to respond to photo viewer desires.
