摘要: A battery system comprising positive and negative charge-discharge terminals, first and second batteries, first and second unidirectional switches, and a bridging switch. The first battery and the first unidirectional switch are connected in series across the charge-discharge terminals such that the first unidirectional switch provides a conductive path from the positive charge-discharge terminal to a positive terminal of the first battery. The second battery and the second unidirectional switch are connected in series across the charge-discharge terminals such that the second unidirectional switch provides a conductive path from the negative terminal of the second battery to the negative charge-discharge terminal. The batteries and the bridging switch are connected in series across the charge-discharge terminals, with the bridging switch being located between the positive terminal of the first battery and the negative terminal of the second battery.

摘要: In the case where a predetermined condition related to a load is satisfied in a first state in which electric power is supplied from a second power supply source to the load via a second electric circuit and not supplied to the load via a third electric circuit when electric power cannot be supplied from a first power supply source to the load, a control unit controls a converting unit and a switching unit to establish a second state in which electric power is supplied from the second power supply source to the load via the second electric circuit and the third electric circuit.

摘要: To prevent incorrect information from being given to a driver regarding the estimation of a degradation state of a secondary battery. A diagnostic device (100) for diagnosing a battery (40) provided in an electric vehicle (10), includes an estimation unit (301) that estimates a degradation state of the battery (40); a derivation unit (302) that derives an index value indicating validity of data used for the estimation of the degradation state; and a notification unit (303) that notifies, when accuracy of an estimated value is determined to be low based on the index value, a cause of a decrease in the accuracy of the estimated value.

摘要: A relay control system for a battery system is provided. The relay control system includes: an electrical interface configured to detachably receive a connector; a power supply electrically connected in parallel to a coil of a relay through power supply lines; a relay driver switch interconnected between the power supply and the coil in one of the power supply lines; and a controller electrically connected in parallel to the relay driver switch through relay driver control lines to control the relay driver switch. One of the power supply lines or the relay driver control lines is routed across the interface, and the relay control system is configured to open the relay when the one of the power supply lines or the relay driver control lines is interrupted in response to the connector being detached from the interface.
