Abstract:
A hill start assist method for a vehicle includes a vehicle-mounted controller for sensing an intention to start on an uphill slope, and converts a sensed gradient resistance into a target torque, and enables the engine to have adequate torque reserve in advance; therefore, in the subsequent start, driving wheels can obtain sufficient driving force to ensure that the vehicle will not slide backward. Furthermore, for a manual automobile, the engine torque is boosted in an early stage during a clutch release by a driver, thus accelerating the rotation speed of the engine, and avoiding, to a certain extent, engine stalling caused by a too quick or too much clutch release, compared with the situation where the engine is completely idling.
Abstract:
A belt buckle arrangement for a seat belt system includes a belt buckle (1) with a spring-loaded locking mechanism for locking a belt tongue in a buckle housing (2). A spring-loaded push button (3) is displaceably guided on the buckle housing (2) for acting on the locking mechanism. A belt buckle status sensor (4) is connected with a data cable (5) directed out from the belt buckle (1). The buckle housing (2) is pivotably connected with a holder (6). Pivoting of the belt buckle (1) to the holder (6) is delimited by a stop (8) on the holder (6) abutting a stop surface (7) on the belt buckle (1). A sound-absorbing element (9) between the stop (8) and the stop surface (7) has a guide section (10) ensuring that the data cable (5) in the belt buckle (1) does not come in contact with the holder (6).
Abstract:
A motor vehicle camera module (12) having a lens assembly (20), a housing (22) forming a front end (50) surrounding an opening (28), an image sensor (24) carried by a back wall (32) within the housing (22) adjacent an image plane (A). The housing (22) having a lens holder (53) between the front end (50) and the back wall (32). The camera module (12) has a tube (26) fixed to the lens holder (53) at the front end (50). The tube (26) surrounds the opening (28) and extends from the opening (28) into the housing (22). The lens assembly (20) is connected to a tube bottom end section by threads (71, 72). The thermal expansion coefficient of the tube (26) is higher than that of the lens holder (53). The threads (71, 72) extends over less than half of the axial length (hL) of the lens assembly (20).
Abstract:
An airbag apparatus that prevents a reverse flow of a gas between chambers to allow internal pressures of the chambers to be maintained. The airbag apparatus includes: a cushion portion with a divided internal space including a first chamber and a second chamber; a deflector surrounds a periphery of an inflator with a first gap therebetween to cover a gas ejection port of the inflator. The deflector has a first end portion projecting in a longitudinal direction and forming a space between the first end portions of the deflector and the inflator. A cloth cylindrical member surrounds a periphery of the deflector with a second gap therebetween. The cylindrical member projects from the first end portion of the deflector by a predetermined length so as to allow the first gap and the second gap to be covered in the first end portion side of the deflector.
Abstract:
A belt buckle for a safety belt system for latching a belt buckle (1) with a casing (4), and a locking mechanism (3) arranged in the casing (4), and a spring element (13) loading the latching mechanism (3) in the closing direction, and a damping element that acts against the closing direction of the lathing mechanism (3). The damping element is formed by a soft layer arranged on the inside of the casing (4) on an anticipated impact surface of one of the components of the latching mechanism (3) during the latching or unlatching movement (3).
Abstract:
A vehicle steering wheel comprising a metallic hub, a rim, and at least one branch including a mechanical connection piece attaching the rim to the hub. The vehicle steering whell additionally includes at least one second branch of polymer injected between the hub and the rim without a mechanical connection piece attaching the rim to the hub, the at least one second branch including at least one energy conductor. The steering wheel further comprising positioning means for positioning the at least one energy conductor before the injection of the polymer of the branch in such a manner as to guarantee a minimal distance between the at least one energy conductor and a surface of the polymer once it is injected.
Abstract:
An airbag for a knee airbag apparatus which is rapidly deployed upward along a shape of an instrument panel includes a front panel; and a rear panel coupled to the front panel to form an inflation chamber. The front panel neighbors to the instrument panel and the rear panel neighbors to knees of a passenger when the airbag is inflated. The rear panel includes a wrinkle portion which is deployed at a position corresponding to a housing connecting portion to which the instrument panel and a rear end of the housing neighbor when the airbag is inflated, so that an additional inflation chamber is formed.
Abstract:
A quick-release fastener for a vehicle seat belt (21) with a fitting part (1), and a fastening part (7). The fitting part (1) has a first opening (2), and a second opening (3), in which the fastening part (7) can be locked to a locking head (6). The fastening part (7) can be inserted into the opening (3) in which a spring element (14) is arranged in an assembly position (I), and the spring element (14) can be moved into the locked position (II). A housing (100) is adapted to the shape of the fitting part (1) with the locking head (6) retained therein. The mounting (112) is shaped n such that the fitting part (I) with the locking head (6) can be completely received in the mounting (112) only when the locking head (6) is in the locked position (II).
Abstract:
A camera module for a motor vehicle having a lens objective, a lens holder holding said lens objective, and a back plate connected to said lens holder and holding an image sensor in or close to an image plane of the lens objective. The materials, shapes and/or relative positions of the components of the lens objective are designed to keep the image plane in or close to the sensitive plane of the image sensor over an operating temperature range of the camera module.
Abstract:
An assembly of an airbag module includes an airbag housing receiving an airbag cushion and a steering wheel having a mounting plate part. The airbag housing has first hooks, the mounting plate part has second hooks coupled with the first hooks, respectively, and at least one of the first and second hooks has a protective member, at least a portion of which is interposed between the first and second hooks to prevent abrasion and contact noise between the first and second hooks due to the elastic movement of the airbag housing to the mounting plate part. The assembly minimizes the striking noise and the abrasion caused by friction between the airbag housing and the mounting plate part through the preventive member due to the elastic movement of the airbag housing to the mounting plate part.
