The apparatus is further caused to request a service user profile associated with a migration request. Still further, the apparatus is caused to create, based on the requested service user profile, a modified service user profile comprising the set of substitute functions, and to provide the modified service user profile.

Abstract: Improved techniques of reducing latency in UL positioning include generating a priority indication by the LMF for all UE requiring UL positioning. For example, an LMF can generate a priority list identifying UEs within a network that may be considered by a serving network node (gNB) for positioning prioritization. In some implementations, the serving gNB indicates that prioritizing all of the identified UEs would require more network resources than are available. In such a case, the LMF obtains latency measurement values for TRPs in the network. Based on the latency measurement values obtained, the LMF performs a configuration operation on at least one of the TRPs to reduce the UL positioning latency to an acceptable value.

Abstract: Apparatus and a method are disclosed for calibrating and tuning a wavelength-tunable semiconductor laser. In an assembly, the wavemeter is integrated with the laser, and plural temperature sensors are coupled to plural, spatially separated functional elements of the wavemeter by thermal conduction. A tuning circuit generates tuning signals for the laser that are responsive to wavemeter output signals and to temperature-indication signals from the plural temperature sensors. Temperature effects on the tuning can be mitigated.
