Abstract: A reduced pressure dressing for applying reduced pressure treatment to a tissue site includes an interface layer adapted to be positioned at the tissue site. An absorbent layer is in fluid communication with the interface layer to absorb liquid from at least one of the interface layer and the tissue site. A pump is in fluid communication with the absorbent layer to deliver a reduced pressure to the tissue site. A cover is positioned over the pump, the absorbent layer, and the interface layer to maintain the reduced pressure at the tissue site, and a liquid-air separator is positioned between the absorbent layer and the pump to inhibit liquid from entering the pump.

Abstract: A dressing for treating a tissue site with negative pressure may comprise a first polymer film having a plurality of fluid restrictions, and a second polymer film comprising a plurality of standoffs disposed adjacent to the first polymer film. The first polymer film and the second polymer film may be substantially transparent to allow observation of the tissue site. In some embodiments, at least some of the standoffs may be offset from the fluid restrictions. The second polymer film may comprise fluid passages adjacent to the standoffs in some examples.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a filtration system (1) having the faucet (20). The faucet (20) comprises: a mixing valve, wherein the mixing valve is provided with a first inlet passage, a second inlet passage, and a mixing valve outlet passage, wherein the first inlet passage is connected to a first fluid line (L2), and the second inlet passage is connected to a second fluid line (L3); an outflowing pipe (23), wherein one end of the outflowing pipe (23) is connected to the mixing valve outlet passage; and a mode selection device (25), wherein the mode selection device (25) being operable to selectively allow one or both of the first fluid line (L2) and the second fluid line (L3) to communicate with the mixing valve outlet passage. The faucet (20) further comprises a mixing ratio adjustment device, the mixing ratio adjustment device and the mode selection device (25) operating independently from each other. The faucet (20) and the filtration system (1) according to the present invention can simplify operation of the faucet (20), allow the faucet (20) to be more in line with user's operating habits, reduce the number of parts and components, and enable configuration of appropriate mixing ratios according difficult use environments, thereby expanding the application scope of the faucet (20) and filtration system (1).

Abstract: The present invention discloses a bypass valve and a water purifier comprising the bypass valve. The bypass valve comprises a valve housing and a valve core disposed in an inner space of the valve housing and capable of rotating in the inner space around an axial direction. The valve core comprises a first inlet and a first outlet disposed at intervals in an axial direction, a first annular seal fitted on an outer side surface of the valve core between the first inlet and the first outlet, and a first channel disposed within the valve core and communicating with the first inlet and the first outlet. The bypass opening and the first circular seal are configured in such a manner that, when the valve core rotates, the first annular seal is capable of partitioning the bypass opening into two parts, and an axial position of a part of the first annular seal in contact with the bypass opening varies with the rotation of the valve core.

Abstract: Hollow fiber membranes, membrane contactors, and related production and use methods. The membranes include a substrate having a multiplicity of pores and a skin layer overlaying the porous substrate. The porous substrate includes a first semi-crystalline thermoplastic polyolefin (co)polymer resin and a nucleating agent in an amount effective to achieve nucleation. The skin layer includes a second semi-crystalline thermoplastic polyolefin (co)polymer resin derived by polymerizing at most 98 wt. % of 4-methyl-1-pentene monomer with at least 2 wt. % of linear or branched alpha olefin monomers. Preferably, the first thermoplastic polyolefin (co)polymer is different from the second thermoplastic polyolefin (co)polymer. The skin layer is less porous than the porous substrate and forms an outer surface of the hollow fiber with the porous substrate forming an inner surface. The hollow fibers are formed by co-extruding the porous substrate resin and the skin layer resin through an annular die.
