A self-aligned 1 bit silicon oxide nitride oxide silicon (SONOS) cell and a method of fabricating the same has high uniformity between adjacent SONOS cells, since the lengths of nitride layers do not vary due to misalignment when etching word lines of the 1 bit SONOS cells. An insulating layer pattern that forms a sidewall of a word line is formed on a semiconductor substrate, and a word line for a gate is formed on the sidewall thereof. Etching an ONO layer using a self-aligned etching spacer provides uniform adjacent SONOS cells.

A home network system which can efficiently configure a new home appliance in the home network system. The home network system includes at least one new device newly connected to a master device through a network, for transmitting a plugged-in request message containing an initial address through the network, receiving an address change request message containing a logical address, and changing the initial address to the logical address, and at least one master device connected to the new device through the network, for receiving the plugged-in request message from the new device, setting the logical address for the new device, and transmitting the address change request message containing the logical address to the new device, wherein the initial address comprises at least a product code and a logical address of the new device, and the new device changes the logical address to the logical address set by the master device.

Provided are a method and apparatus for encoding and decoding a stereoscopic image. A stereoscopic image restoring method includes parsing a received data stream into image data of a stereoscopic image and information regarding the stereoscopic image; extracting a camera parameter depending on individual characteristics of each of one or more cameras which have captured the stereoscopic image; and decoding and restoring the image data of the stereoscopic image.

Provided is a method of reducing fatigue resulting from viewing a three-dimensional (3D) image display. The method includes: obtaining low visual fatigue parameter information on a frame section including at least one frame of a received 3D image; obtaining disparity vector information on each frame of the 3D image; and determining a disparity minimum limit value and a disparity maximum limit value with respect to the 3D image.

A portable personal self-operating life tube is disclosed, in which when a user is drowned in water due to a marine disaster or a fire and sinking of a ship, it automatically operates, so the user can save his life by just wearing the tube, and the tube is able to keep a user's a body temperature until a rescue comes after the tube is expanded along with the above features, and a life tube can be easily used without a particular care by improving the problems found in a conventional art in which a user feels bad when wearing a life tube since a conventional life equipment is not customized, and it is not portable and is not easy to use.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for reproducing a stereoscopic image are provided. The method includes generating information about parallax between a left-eye image and a right-eye image of objects included in the stereoscopic image based on a stereo camera parameter of the stereoscopic image, controlling the depth of the objects in the stereoscopic image based on the generated information, and reproducing the stereoscopic image based on the controlled depth. Accordingly, the stereoscopic image can be reproduced while minimizing the eye fatigue of a viewer.

Provided are a methods and apparatuses for generating a stereoscopic image format and reconstructing stereoscopic images from the stereoscopic image format. The method of generating a stereoscopic image format for compression or transmission of stereoscopic images includes receiving a base view image and an additional view image, determining block pixel information for the stereoscopic image format for each block position using first block pixel information of the base view image and second block pixel information of the additional view image based on blocks obtained by dividing the base view image and the additional view image, and disposing the determined block pixel information in each block position, thereby generating a combined image including pixel information of the base view image and pixel information of the additional view image.

The method includes receiving 3D image data; storing predetermined display mode information in a header region of a stereoscopic image bitstream in order to determine whether to display the 3D image data in a 2D display mode or a 3D display mode; and storing the 3D image data in a payload region of the stereoscopic image bitstream.
