Suitable evaluation of the received electromagnetic signals is provided in order to obtain a functionality achieved by way of the displacement or rotation of the directional antenna in the case of prior solutions. In this respect, a level of the received electromagnetic signal is compared with a predefined threshold value. As the result of the comparison, the wheel electronics unit is localized as being arranged in a wheel of the first wheel group or as being arranged in a wheel of the second wheel group.

According to the invention the extraction funnels (13) are arranged laterally beside the extraction conveyor (15) and lead at their lower end into a ramp surface (17) inclined towards the extraction conveyor, the extraction products extracted from the gate through the extraction funnels being transported slidingly over the inclined ramp surface to the extraction conveyor. The inclined ramp surface is preferably formed by a loading ramp (22) which is so arranged in an extraction chamber (16) branching off laterally from the extraction path that its one end (19), disposed higher, is located below the extraction funnel and its other end (23), disposed lower, forms an outlet (21) towards the extraction conveyor.

The device is useful for placing a variety of stents or implants when used with a cystoscope or other visualization or placement device. An inner sheath is relatively stiff and an outer sheath is relatively pliable or soft compared to the inner sheath. The sheaths are assembled to a connector and a positioner is then inserted through the center of the assembly, the inner sheath. The implant is placed near the distal end of the outer sheath, and the assembled device with the implant is backloaded onto a cystoscope or endoscope for placement. The inner sheath may be used to tailor the stiffness or rigidity of the assembled delivery device.
