Abstract: A building management system (BMS) includes a plurality of devices controllers, a BMS database, and a BMS controller. The device controllers are configured to monitor and control one or more HVAC devices and to store and process time-series data associated with the HVAC devices. The BMS database is configured to store a master-index, the master-index identifying the time-series data stored by each of the device controllers. The BMS controller is configured to receive a processing request that requires the time-series data stored by one or more of the device controllers. The BMS controller is further configured to generate one or more processing sub-requests. The device controllers are further configured to handle the processing sub-requests and provide processing results to the BMS controller. The BMS controller is further configured to combine processing results from the device controllers.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a method for performing energy analytics in a building management system. The method can include collecting respective data samples of one or more variables from building equipment during a first period of time and a second period of time. The method can include calculating a first plurality of values for one or more energy audit metrics based on the data samples collected during the first period of time and the second period of time. The method can include comparing the first plurality of values and second plurality of values. The method can include displaying, based on the comparison, at least one of the first plurality of values and/or at least one of the second plurality of values on a dashboard to facilitate adjustment of the one or move variables.

Abstract: A building system for operating a building and managing building information causes one or more processors to receive building data from one or more building data sources, generate relationships between entities based on the building data, wherein the relationships comprises a pair of relationships between a first entity and a second entity of the entities representing two different types of relationships, wherein the pair of relationships comprises a first relationship between the first entity and the second entity and a second relationship between the second entity and the first entity, and update a space graph by causing the space graph to store nodes representing the entities and edges between the nodes representing the relationships, wherein the space graph is a graph data structure.

Abstract: A method performed by a Building Management System (BMS) includes receiving a vibration dataset associated with a machine controlled by the BMS. The vibration dataset includes machine metadata, machine operating conditions, and one or more time waveforms. The method further includes assembling a feature vector comprising one or more features of the vibration dataset for input to a machine learning model. The machine learning model is associated with a component of the machine. The method further includes applying the feature vector to the machine learning model in order to generate a condition score for the component. The method further includes scheduling a maintenance event for the machine or changing a setpoint associated with the machine depending on the condition score.

Abstract: A building management system (BMS) includes building equipment configured to provide raw data samples of one or more data points in the BMS. The BMS further includes a data collector configured to collect raw data samples from the building equipment and generate one or more raw data timeseries comprising a plurality of the raw data samples. The BMS also includes a timeseries processing engine. The timeseries processing engine is configured to identify one or more timeseries processing workflows that apply to the raw data timeseries, each of the workflows comprising a predefined sequence of timeseries processing operation. The timeseries processing engine is further configured to process the raw data timeseries using the identified timeseries processing workflows to generate one or more derived data timeseries. The BMS further includes a timeseries storage interface configured to store the raw data timeseries and the derived data timeseries in a timeseries database.

Abstract: A system for monitoring the health of a building management system (BMS). The system includes a communication network and a number of intelligent devices. The intelligent devices configured to communicate with each other via the communication network. Each of the intelligent devices are configured to transmit a health message to another individual intelligent device of the intelligent devices during a first messaging cycle. The first intelligent device receives a health message from at least one of the intelligent devices. The first intelligent device updates an existing health message stored in the memory of the first intelligent device based on the received health message. The first device transmits the updated health message to one of the other intelligent devices during a subsequent messaging cycle.
