Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may identify that a radio resource control connection is to be established for evolved packet system fallback or inter radio access technology fallback from New Radio for a voice call. The UE may determine that an establishment cause received from a network access stratum (NAS) layer does not indicate high priority access. The UE may override the establishment cause such that the establishment cause indicates a mobile originated (MO) voice call based at least in part on determining that the establishment cause received from the NAS layer does not indicate high priority access. The UE may perform an access barring check of an MO voice call based at least in part on overriding the establishment cause such that the establishment cause indicates an MO voice call. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for remote interference determination at a first base station based on assistance from one or more neighboring base stations of the first base station. Certain aspects provide a method for wireless communication by a first base station (BS). The method includes receiving from a second BS neighboring the first BS an uplink interference report request. The method further includes transmitting to the second BS an uplink interference report in response to the uplink interference report request, the uplink interference report comprising information indicative of uplink interference caused by one or more user equipments communicating on an uplink with the first BS.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for reference signal monitoring and transmission for remote interference management. In some cases, an aggressor base station decides to monitor for reference signals (RSs) transmitted from at least one victim BS, for example, regardless of an amount of interference from at least one remote BS detected by the first base station and participating in a remote interference mitigation (RIM) process based on the monitored RS. In some cases, a first BS transmits reference signals (RSs) as part of a remote interference mitigation (RIM) process, in response to a determination that it is an aggressor BS whose downlink transmissions possibly interfere with reception of uplink transmissions by at least one remote BS, a victim BS whose reception of uplink transmissions are possibly interfered with by downlink transmissions from the at least one remote BS, or both an aggressor BS and a victim BS.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may receive configuration information identifying at least one random access channel resource to be used for channel state information (CSI) feedback regarding a multicast or broadcast (multicast/broadcast) signal; and transmit a signal based at least in part on the CSI feedback using the at least one random access channel resource. In some aspects, a base station may transmit configuration information identifying at least one random access channel resource to be used for CSI feedback regarding a multicast or broadcast (multicast/broadcast) signal to be provided to a plurality of user equipment (UEs); and determine the CSI feedback based at least in part on a signal received on the at least one random access channel resource. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for multiple radio access technology (RAT) carrier aggregation (CA), such as Long Term Evolution (LTE)-New Radio (NR) CA. The method, in one example, comprises generating a first resource coordination information (RCI) comprising one or more resource coordination bitmaps indicating one or more shortened transmission time intervals (sTTIs) of a TTI assigned to the first RAT for communication, wherein the TTI comprises a plurality of sTTIs. The method further comprises transmitting a message including the first RCI to a second base station that uses a second RAT. The method further comprises receiving an acknowledgement of the message from the second base station, the acknowledgment including a second RCI comprising one or more modified resource coordination bitmaps indicating the one or more sTTIs assigned to the first RAT for communication and one or more additional sTTIs of the TTI assigned to the second RAT.

Abstract: Described techniques provide for low latency transmission time interval (TTI) transmissions that may have reduced likelihood of experiencing interference from one or more neighboring transmitters. A base station may configure two or more sets of resources for two or more sets of wireless transmissions, in which low latency transmissions may be transmitted in a set of wireless transmissions using all or a portion of one of the sets of resources. The set of resources available for the low latency transmissions may be associated with a set of power parameters that provide reduced transmission powers relative to one or more of the other sets of resources. The two or more sets of resources may include one or more sub-bands of available frequency resources, one or more subsets of time resources, or combinations thereof. In some cases, neighboring base stations may coordinate sets of resources that have reduced power parameters.

Abstract: Systems and techniques are disclosed to reduce workload on base stations in a mobile network when content delivery networks cache content inside the network. A user equipment sets a flag only with those packets on the uplink which include requests that should be routed to the cache server inside the mobile network. The base stations perform deep packet inspection of those packets where flags have been set and forward other packets on to the rest of the relevant backhaul of the mobile network. After deep packet inspection, the base stations either route the packet to the cache server via an established connection or propagate the flag in an extension header to another network node for routing to the cache server. The resulting content is returned to the UE with the source address of the originally intended destination instead of the cache server, rendering the process transparent to the end user.
