Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to mechanisms for sidelink communication across frequency bands. In some examples, a wireless communication device may be configured to communicate over a first frequency band (e.g., a “sub-6 GHz band”) and a second frequency band (e.g., a “millimeter wave band”) with one or more other wireless communication devices. The wireless communication device may further be configured to perform cross-link scheduling of a transmission in which sidelink control information (SCI) is transmitted within a physical sidelink control channel (PSCCH) on the first frequency band and data corresponding to the SCI is transmitted within a physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH) on the second frequency band.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may determine to use multi-cluster communications in a vehicle based communication network. The UE may identify a configuration parameter associated with the multi-cluster communications. The UE may select a cluster resource from a set of available cluster resources based on the configuration parameter. The cluster resource may include one or more clusters used for multi-cluster transmissions in the vehicle based communication network. The UE may transmit an indication of the selected cluster resource to a wireless node of the vehicle based communication network, for example, to another UE. The UE may transmit the multi-cluster transmission on the selected cluster resource.

Abstract: Techniques are described for wireless communication at a wireless device. One method includes transmitting, during a TTI, a first message using a first MCS; and transmitting, during the TTI, a second message using a second MCS. The first message includes indications of a location, a heading, and a speed of the wireless device, and the second MCS is higher than the first MCS. Another method includes decoding a first message received during a TTI; performing a Doppler effect compensation for a second message based at least in part on the first message; and decoding the second message based at least in part on the Doppler effect compensation. The second message is also received during the TTI. The first message is decoded in accordance with a first MCS, and the second message is decoded in accordance with a second MCS, with the second MCS being higher than the first MCS.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques relating to wireless communications between vehicles. In certain aspects, a method performed by a first vehicle comprises receiving an indication from a second vehicle comprising surrounding information that is indicative of whether a first unknown vehicle is detected by the second vehicle, wherein the first vehicle and the second vehicle are able to communicate wirelessly, and wherein the first unknown vehicle is unable to communicate wirelessly with the first and the second vehicles. The method further comprises controlling movement of the first vehicle based on the indication.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure describe indicating per-packet quality of service (QoS) in communications by a wireless communications device. A packet from an application generated for a first radio access technology (RAT) can be obtained, where the packet includes a first QoS value associated with the first RAT, and/or the first QoS value can be mapped to a second QoS value associated with the second RAT. In another example, the QoS value can be indicated in the packet along with a reflective indicator indicating to use the QoS value in transmitting a response to the packet.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods and devices for group communication which may include a first UE and a set of UEs. In one aspect, the first UE may receive from each UE of the set of UEs a PDU including a header that includes a QoS level for the UE. The first UE can also determine a supported QoS level for the first UE. In another aspect, the first UE can set a transmission QoS level for the first UE to be a lowest QoS level of the determined supported QoS level and the QoS level from each UE of the set of UEs. In a further aspect, the first UE can transmit by multicast to the set of UEs a PDU based on the set transmission QoS level.
