摘要: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques relating to wireless communications between vehicles. In certain aspects, a method performed by a first vehicle comprises receiving an indication from a second vehicle comprising surrounding information that is indicative of whether a first unknown vehicle is detected by the second vehicle, wherein the first vehicle and the second vehicle are able to communicate wirelessly, and wherein the first unknown vehicle is unable to communicate wirelessly with the first and the second vehicles. The method further comprises controlling movement of the first vehicle based on the indication.

A method for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) includes configuring a relay selection rule; receiving at least one discovery message from each of a plurality of proximity services (ProSe) relay candidates providing access to a network; evaluating the received discovery messages with respect to the relay selection rule; selecting a first ProSe relay candidate from the plurality of ProSe relay candidates based at least in part on the evaluating; and connecting to the network via the first ProSe relay candidate. A method for wireless communication at a ProSe relay candidate includes receiving, from a network, a ProSe Relay Indication (PRI); broadcasting at least one discovery message that includes the PRI; and receiving a relay connection request from a UE based at least in part on a compliance of the at least one discovery message with a relay selection rule of the UE.

摘要: Methods and apparatus for configuring a UE to assist in mitigating network congestion include determining whether a data packet has expired based on a first parameter, which indicates an expiration of the data, and adjusting a transmission of the data packet based on the determination of whether the data packet has expired. In some aspects, the UE may drop the data packet upon determination that the data packet has expired. The UE may be configured detect to a first congestion level, receive a second congestion level from a second UE, and process a frame for transmission based on the first or second congestion level. The UE may be configured determine a priority, generate a data packet that includes a destination parameter or a source parameter, adjust radio resource parameters based on the destination parameter or source parameter, and transmit data packets according to adjusted radio resources.

摘要: A method, apparatus, and computer-readable medium for transmission control include receiving, at a non-access stratum protocol layer, a packet including a reliability request from an application, and determining if the application is authorized to make the reliability request. Further, the aspects include, in response to determining the application is authorized to make the reliability request, performing one of: sending the packet including the reliability request to an access stratum protocol layer, or sending the packet with a modified reliability request to the second protocol layer. Further aspects describe a control plane delivery mechanism for provisioning UE, such as with policies and/or configurations including transmission control reliability authorization information.

Therefore, a UE may establish a relay connection to access resources when the UE is outside of a coverage area provided by a base station or access point. In aspects, an apparatus may be configured to transmit, to a set of relay UEs, a first message associated with establishment of a relay connection. The apparatus may be further configured to receive a set of messages from the set of relay UEs. The apparatus may be further configured to establish the relay connection with a first relay UE of the set of relay UEs based on a message of the set of messages from the first relay UE.

摘要: A novel key management approach is provided for securing communication handoffs between a UE and two base stations. A UE establishes a secure communication session with a first base station based on a first master session key based on a master transient key. The UE obtains a second base station identifier associated with a second base station and sends a message associated with a handoff to either the first base station or the second base station. The UE generates a second master session key based on at least the master transient key and the second base station identifier. The second master session key is used for secure communications with the second base station in connection with an intra-authenticator handoff from the first base station to the second base station. The UE then moves the secure communication session to the second base station.
