Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for wireless communication via a non-terrestrial network (NTN). In one aspect, a method for wireless communication includes initiating, by a user equipment (UE), a registration process with a network entity of an NTN to access the NTN. The method also includes transmitting, by the UE to the network entity, UE capability information of the UE. The method further includes receiving, by the UE from the network entity, a handover command, the handover command comprising a handover time indicator associated with a target handover time for the UE to perform a handover operation from a first beam to a second beam. Abstract: In a legacy gNB (e.g., pre-Rel. 17 gNB), RC UEs with only 1 or 2 receive antennas may have a geographic coverage area for control data and traffic data that is smaller than their geographic coverage area for SSB with respect to certain legacy gNBs. By contrast, at least some new gNBs (e.g., Rel. 17+ gNBs) have the capability to provide uniform geographic coverage for RC UEs with respect to SSB, control data and traffic data. In an aspect of the disclosure, a particular class of UEs (such as RC UEs) is steered towards particular cells (e.g., Rel. 17+ gNBs) via one or more biased class-specific cell selection parameters included in system information from the cells.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify one or more radio frequency (RF) spectrum bands for full-duplex communications, and may signal an indication of the UE's capability to support full-duplex communications for each RF spectrum band. The UE may further receive one or more configurations for full-duplex communications, which, in some examples, may be based on the UE's indicated capabilities. As an example, the UE may identify a guard band configuration for full-duplex communications, where the guard band configuration may be based on one or more aspects of resources used for the full-duplex communications. In other cases, the UE may identify a transmission hopping or antenna switching configuration for full-duplex communications. In any case, the UE may communicate with a base station in accordance with the one or more configurations and the UE's capabilities.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to downlink (DL) transmissions using various powers and assigning frequency resources based on the powers. An example base station may transmit, to a first user equipment (UE), an indication of a first transmit (Tx) power for one or more first DL transmissions to a first group of a plurality of groups. The first group may include the first UE. The first Tx power may have a first power level different from a second power level of a second Tx power for one or more second DL transmissions to a second group of the plurality of groups. Then, the base station may transmit, to the first UE, a first DL transmission of the one or more first DL transmissions using the first Tx power.
