Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for resolving an unresolved plot or storyline of a series and resolving it. A user may not view all episodes in a series of episodes, particularly if the series runs over a long period of time, such as several years. The user may however be interested and curious to know how the series ends, with reference to a storyline that runs throughout the series. Therefore the disclosure provides methods and systems for determining if a user is interested in the resolution of an unresolved storyline and generating a resolution video for display.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for providing subtitles for a media content item. Subtitles are obtained, using control circuitry, for the media content item. Control circuitry determines whether a character component of the subtitles should be replaced by an image component. In response to determining that the character component of the subtitles should be replaced by an image component, control circuitry selects, from memory, an image component corresponding to the character component. Control circuitry replaces the character component of the subtitles by the image component to generate modified subtitles.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for extended reality environment interaction. An extended reality environment including an object is generated for display, and a table of eyelid motion identifiers and corresponding actions performable on the object in the extended reality environment is stored in memory. An eyelid motion is detected by using a sensor, and the detected eyelid motion is matched to one of the stored eyelid motion identifiers. An updated version of the extended reality environment, based on the action that corresponds to the matched eyelid motion, is generated for display, in response to matching the detected eyelid motion to one of the stored eyelid motion identifiers.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for subjectively modifying social media posts. The system receiving a version of a social media post from a sender, along with a list of target users, and generates one or more modified versions of the social media post based on the preferences of the target user. The system retrieves a plurality of the versions of the post and selects a version based on quality and other attributes. The selected version of the post is modified based on the target user's preferences. The system modifies, for example, text, images, or video of the post to generate one or more modified versions of the social media post. In other embodiments, the system may determine the number of modifications made to a post being shared, and compare the number of modifications against a threshold.
